Second time visiting. One server for about 20 people across 7 tables, no support staff, no manager/owner in sight. Started with Cauliflower Bites and they were very bland even some salt would have helped. The Avocado/Cilantro/Lime sauce was bland and the spicy sauce was sweet and spicy, but still left something to be desired. Water glasses were empty more than they were filled. Ordered Iced Tea and requested an artificial sweetener. I was firmly told they have nothing artificial in house, but they had honey or sugar in the raw...there are a few natural sweetener options, monkfruit and stevia for two choices that they could offer. The tea was then delivered without the sugar in the raw I agreed to. I had to request it after we finally saw the server again. Ordered the Cruban, pictured, with fresh cut fries. It was worth every cent. The server did pop by about 15 min after we ordered to say there was a mixup with our sandwiches and they would be coming. They came out about 10 minutes after that and although having asked ahead what dipping sauces would be preferred for fries, the server asked again as the sandwiches were delivered. Overworked with no support will effect the server's ability to work at their best. Absolutely freezing today. Not one person was eating without a coat on. With 25'+ ceilings and a mostly glass front there needs to be fans or something that pushes heat and airflow down and through the building. The only reason I gave 2 stars over 1 is because the sandwich was amazing and I believe the service would have been better if there had been some sort of help from the owner or a manager. For the food taking so long they removed one sandwich from our bill, which was completely not necessary and for some reason we got another order of Cauliflower Bites given to us in a takeout box. There are still no desserts on the menu after about 6 months of operating. Must be hard to make/get some without artificial ingredients... I'll try at least once more after they've been open for 1 year or a bit longer.

Food is GOOOOD!🤤 Food quality 10/10 Food price 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 8/10 Sorry about the pic we devoured and nachos and most the sandwich before realizing I should get a pic 😬🤣 If you are in the area or driving through this Scythe Brewing is 100% worth the stop. The server was very friendly and attentive. We dined inside and brought our lil cat in his backpack with no issues ♥️ We ordered the Firey Turkey Gobbler and it was mouth watering, the charred jalapeno wasn't too spicy and definitely made the dish. We also ordered the small nachos and they are LOADED! Both were very reasonable prices and just down right delicious 🤤 We ended up splitting the burger and nachos and had a drink each to a bill under $50 which is unheard nowadays at a taproom. I gave the atmosphere an 8/10 simply because the smell. There was that odd mildewy dish rag smell you noticed after sitting down. Walking in smelt like well seasoned burgers but after min you got that table cleaner smell. Not horrid but enough to definitely notice. Thank you for the great service and good we will be back 👌

You know sometimes when you are just driving around in a strange city you run into something just great. Well that happen to my wife and myself. We were in Kelso and drove by the Scythe Brewing Company an decided to drop in. Always looking for a good IPA. Not only did they have a great IPA they had one of the best staff members I have ever ran into. I wish I got her name by she was working the afternoon of 10/29/2025 and I have ran into a lot of servers/bartenders and she was the best. I don't walk well and she took the time to make sure I was doing OK. Besides that it they had homemade soup and the beef barley was to die for. Thick and rich and just full of flavor. So impressive my wife took one spoonful and told me it was the best soup ever and I had to agree. The beer was excellent and the place was just comfortable. I don't live in the area and don't know if I will ever be back but if you are ever in the Kelso area it is work the stop. I know that I will try to make it back. Also parking was good and decent to get in and out of.

Went there for the first time and had the absolute worst waitress named Heather that was more worried about micro managing other employees then attending her tables. And no she is not a manager. We waited 15 minutes to order a drink before another waitress came over, our food sat in the window another 10 minutes before the cook brought it over. The other staff was absolutely wonderful. Heather spent her time throwing nasty remarks at other employees and rearranging the menus a dozen times while walking by our table at least a dozen times as we tried to get her attention. I’m am absolutely appalled by not only how she treats her colleagues but her costumers too.

Edit: I decided to edit my review and raise the stars from 1 to 4, as I spoke to the owner. Amazingly nice people and were appalled by the mistreatment by their staff. They listened and actually acknowledged us as costumers that were not just there to complain. They handled the situation appropriately and took rapid action. Due to this and the other staff who were sweet and kind we will be going back to give this place another try. If you go, look at the chandelier. It’s made of old tap beer pipes and is super cool and creative! Thank you Scythe Brewing for communicating with us. Can’t wait to...
