Country Folks Deli — Restaurant in Longview

It was a one star meal, but the waiter was really nice and polite so I gave two stars! First of all we got mozzarella sticks that was still raw and cold inside! I got a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't even melted! My daughter got a kids meal that came with apple sauce and she didn't get any silverware to eat it, my son also got a kids meal and didn't get what was mentioned (on the menu) with his meal. It says the kids meal included drinks but we got charged for their drinks. It cost us over $90.00 (not including a tip) for food that wasn't even average. I understand that sometimes "its a bad day" but when it's a simple order (grilled cheese) like come on! The waiter was super friendly, he let us know that he had a huge table of 15 to gather orders from, just in the back area, so it might be a minute if we hadn't quite decided what we wanted. Which we were not. When he came back to take our order, he said he would put it in before the large group's orders, which was super nice of him. We very much appreciate it. So, the service and server were pretty great. We both had a Reuben sandwich and fries. They were good, although the sandwhiches were a bit dry. Delightfully charming cow themed cafe; that serves delicious food served by friendly servers!

We’ve been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The last time we were here my husband ordered a breakfast special which included epic homemade potato’s, two eggs and bacon. I ordered the beer cheese soup but had ordering remorse staring at my husbands potatoes!

Food is served piping hot, delivered quickly and is absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable and the staff is wonderful. This restaurant is now one of our favorites!
