Very disappointed both times in after just coming to the area. 1st time incredibly rude when inquiring about what types of pets they sell and purchasing mice. 2nd time was even worse and concerned about the knowledge of the staff. We were very interested in purchasing a snake for our daughter. Staff was more interested in telling us what she knew then hearing our history and comfort with a wide range of snakes. She handled and put snake in a bag despite signs of being blue. In addition her care for the snake is arguably very inappropriate and tried to force sell a larger tank not needed as small as the snake was until we got home and transferred to support 2 animals growth and movement, yet was perfectly fine sending home in a small bag. We ended up leaving very disappointed and with a kiddo who is more knowledgeable heartbroken because we were not going to go with the force of tank sell for the snake by someone who clearly had room to grow in snake knowledge in addition to the manager who suggested the forced tank sell without ever coming to talk to us. 2 stars for these 2 experiences is an act...

On the other hand, when I last visited this store earlier this month(April 2024) with my little niece(7yo), we had made the decision to revamp her small fish tank and once again bring life to her hobby infused heart with an aquarium filled with potential and ideas created by her imagination... With some guidance and professional help to assist and aid in the success of such a possibly overwhelming goal for a 7yo girls mind to wrap around, getting to the point of my story is she is shy and little service was provided in the way of customer service, until i interjected and asked for help for her. I only wish the employees here saw this little girl aimlessly looking at their fish tanks and simply put forth the positive drive by asking a child if they were needing any help would've been encouraging and showing her some love could've really made this an experience she could've owned herself vs having her uncle take over and run the young customer experience that should've led to life long regular enthusiast at this...
Read moreI had taken an important call that came in right as I was walking in the store to go look for new collars for my litter of pups. 3 min into my shopping trip I was asked if needed help finding anything, mind you im actively talking... I shook my head no. I grabbed 4 collars and start to look around as I didn't want to be rude and hit the register while on the call. So I went in and out of the rows looking at all the dog things. I noticed I have a worker peering over the racks as if they think I'm suspicious. I then stop and continue my conversating up front where they can see me yet standing to the side not in anyones way while i wrap up my call, I'm then told I can help you if your ready. I simply stopped the conversation and said I would like to finish my call thanks! I felt it was so rude.... if you see someone who is obviously busy on a call have the common courtesy to wait.
