I loved this place the moment I entered it and continue to love it 3 years later! One of the best restaurants Longview has to offer! Their Thai Iced Tea is perfect and they donât short you in a tiny glass or anything, you receive a nicely sized glass of it! Iâve never been disappointed in the food but I do tend to mostly go with Chicken Pad Thai because thatâs my favorite dish in a Thai restaurant. Their red curry comes in as my second favorite and then the cashew chicken being my third⌠but like I said, you canât go wrong with their food! Consistently excellent service too, I might add! Great atmosphere and you arenât bombarded with bizarre âworld musicâ when you enter, although I personally wouldnât if I were.. often times you will see music videos playing subtly on some televisions which are not the focus of the room, but placed upon bookshelves and they are silent, which is also very enjoyable and doesnât take from the atmosphere or conversation you might be engaged in at that time. I do wish he kept it open a bit later, but the family needs a break at the end of the day too! They are there nearly every day of the week but one, if I remember correctly. All in all, incredible food and very nice prices, good portions, good atmosphere and amazing customer...
Read moreThis was a delightful night of dinning. The service was excellent and the owner was very kind and talkative. The appetizers were perfect the Calamari was executed right nice and soft not rubbery and had the flavor you would expect, plus the dipping sauce was awesome. The Salad rolls were nice and crisp the shrimp was tasty. The peanut sauce OMG, Taste! We order the Pad Thai, which was nice and moist like it should be not dry and boring. Creamy and delish. We also order the Drunken Noodles, one of my Favâs. What can I say the noodles were soft and chewy and the Thai Basil fried and the Beef & Shrimp, oh yes! I also ordered a Thai Ice Tea, he makes it from scratch not that bottled stuff you can taste the tea leaves, very appealing to the taste buds...lol. Its a place with comfort, no rush, good for family & friends. It was nice to see a owner take such pride in his love of feeding others and sharing his cultural background in one of the best foods known out there! I highly recommend...
Read moreWe were looking for a Thai restaurant in Longview and Siam Spice was our third attempt. The decor inside is modern and elegant and absolutely somewhere you might want to go for an evening date experience unlike some Asian restaurants can be. We had salad rolls which were perfect, I'll ask for extra peanut sauce next time because it was excellent. We also had the pot stickers which I believe were handmade, delicious! For our entrees I had Pad Kee Mao with chicken and my husband had the cashew chicken, both were very generous servings and absolutely wonderful. My husband explained that he wanted just a tiny bit of spice, so the owner who was waiting on us nodded and what my husband got was exactly that. I ordered mine medium spicy and it was not too spicy. Excellent service and the only thing I'd would like them to change was the lack of music. A soft jazz would be nice, the silence was...
