I've never been a desert guy but Ms. White's cake blew me away. I hear the bbq is great too, but even if you're not hungry, you should visit for the history. This is perhaps the sole remaining black-owned drive-in still serving food in the US. As far as I can tell, it's also the second oldest black-owned restaurant in Texas. THIS IS THE BEST BARBECUE RESTAURANT BETWEEN DALLAS AND LONGVIEW IN MY HUMBLE OPINION . MS. AUDREY IS SUPERB WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO HER FOOD AND PERSONALITY.
