Came on a Friday afternoon around 11:45am, right before the lunch rush! The gentleman at the counter takes your order, gets your order ready and serves you so it’s not a quick lunch service when it’s busy. There are quite a few people in the kitchen so someone came out to assist him when it got really busy.

We got the Chicken Curry (medium size) and Ox Tail (medium) which came with rice & beans, cabbage, and sweet plantains. We also ordered a side of coco bread.

I loved my ox tail - a perfect blend of spices (not too spicy), meat was tender & a little chewy. I thought it was very well seasoned without being too salty. The chicken curry was also tender, delicious and tasty! The coconut bread was like a warm soft pillow that melted in my mouth and I could eat it all day long. A little sweet and a whole lotta addictive!

Plenty of parking in the front in the industrial plaza, it has a few tables and chairs but it’s not a large sit down place, there was a lot of carry out...

Today 9/19/25 was our second time trying this business. The first time, the customer service wasn’t so great, the guy at the register wasn’t very welcoming but we decided to give it another shot, and this morning was much worse!! The female came to the register, didn’t greet us or ask if we were there for pick up or to order. We were one of their first customers of the day. I asked her was the order on the counter for (my husband’s name)…she responded “Huh!” and with an attitude, so I repeated the name of the order, she then turns around to grab the order and didn’t even hand it to me, she placed it at the very end of the counter by the register which was rude. The customer service is TERRIBLE and I will not be back. Give “Peppers and Onions” in Chantilly a try, the food is awesome and the owner “Earl” has great customer service, you won’t be...

The food is not authentic Jamaican food, it tasted nasty, soup is long and watery and tasteless. The manager was polite when I told him I don’t like the food and it’s disgusting. The owner told me I can’t get back my money get something else for my money. He was rude and lack respect as a business owner( from how he speak I know he is lying that he is the owner, someone who is running a business knows customer service and will not jeopardize their business over something that’s small). I would not recommend this place to no one. I know what Jamaican food should taste like. This is not it. Has no taste, the food taste like it cook from days before. It’s stale. I will reach to the better business bureau, let them know the kind of business they are running. PLEASE STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I like t support our people but this one is...

This place has just became my go-to spot for Jamaican food! The flavors the Chef Maurice put together are amazing, the vibes are chill, and Anthony's customer service is on point. If you're a fan of authentic Caribbean cuisine, you need to try this place ASAP. The oxtail is fall-off-the-bone tender, my aunts the curry goat was so good she ate the bone and the beef patties are the perfect combo to any side dish. Don't even get me started on the jerk seasoning sauce it's the perfect blend of spicy and smoky. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Dutch Oven is a must visit for anyone looking for a taste of Jamaica in the DMV. Five stars isn't enough! I can't wait to go get some more and try their roti.
