Hunan Taste Restaurant — Restaurant in Lorton

Update: all this restaurant had to do was keep the good food up. Couldn’t even do that…it only took the second visit for me to change my rating from 5 to 1. One star because the fried rice is the only thing that didn’t make me sad. Ordered shrimp toast. I’m used to golden brown toast and filling. This shrimp toast looked like it was either old or they fried it in old grease. Either way, gross. Threw that out. Also, any Chinese restaurant worth their salt will have a solid house made hot mustard. I asked the guy when I picked my order up for house mustard. He offered the packs and says they’re the same thing (btw: they’re not). I responded, you don’t have any spicy mustard? He goes in the back and comes back from the kitchen and puts a small container in my bag. I didn’t get a good look at it until I get home but it. is. GROSS. It looks like they made the mustard in 2019 and just had it sitting in the kitchen waiting for some poor soul to ask for it. Any restaurant that keeps ingredients that old in their kitchen I unfortunately cannot trust with my stomach. They will sell me whatever no matter how old and if I get the beegees then I just get them. They don’t care as long as they have their money. I don’t play with my stomach like that. I’ll find somewhere else to go. Pics included. Yick.

The bowls have changed and I get it things have become more expensive but to pay $17 and to go to what used to be lunch size bowls are now being given out as dinner size bowls and then it wasn't even full is crazy. I ordered a dinner crispy beef with extra sauce this time since the last time was so dry and stingy the beef was like straw, so to give it another chance and still be dry to the point some pieces were light colored like there was flour and not enough sauce to cover it up and was barely enough to feed two people. If I hadn't ordered soup and extra rice we would still have been hungry and out of $30. Very disappointing only plus soup was hot and came fast but that was easy im 5 min away. They used to be good we ate there alot. I don't know what has happened but time to move on not...

I have lived in Saratoga for 25 years. I have ate here plenty of times. Today's staff was unfamiliar to me. As I walk in the lady was helping someone, then another customer came in be hide me. The lady that worked there ignore me and helped the person who came after me. I spoke up and said I thought I was next. She looked at me and kept helping the other customer that came in be hide me. She was so rude!!! Never once did she come to help me! Then a man came out I said she totally ignore me and help another customer that came in after me. The lady started talking in her language... Then the guy was being such a a**!!! They never once knowledge their mistake. I have never had some one be so rude at a place of business when your paying for the food!! This was...
