29 Pad Thai — Restaurant in Lorton

20240921 Got the Duck Noodle Soup, it was ok. The lady working there was nice, but they are understaffed. It was just her and the cook. We got our appetizer and thought she forgotten us because she never came back to take our order. I went to look for her in the kitchen. The, after our meal, long time later, I went to the kitchen to order dessert. Then I went to the kitchen again to request our check. Although she was very nice, I have inly been here twice, and both times, we had to look for her before she was busy taking care of the carry out orders. There were very few people dining in. 20240516 I haven't been here in a long time. Nothing fancy about the restaurant decor, but the food was excellent, and the service was great, too! There was only 1 person working, and there were several carryout orders while we were the only ones dining in. My friend needed more rice and hot pepper, and I saw an Asian lady standing near the kitchen. It turned out that she's a friend of the lady working by herself. This lady came walking over to our table asking if we needed anything after she saw me waving. She explained that she's a friend and insisted getting our requests. She brought us the items we asked for, and she was sooo nice. The lady working here was friendly, nice and very polite. We ordered Apetitzer #1, and Entrees #5 and #12. All the food was good. I'm not going to give a one star review because I've bought from here several times and the food is great - I don't think a small business should suffer because of one employee, but unfortunately I did have an unpleasant experience with an online order. We always ordered from here for our company's team lunches - one of our employees cannot eat sugar and asked for sauce without it. The restaurant accepted the order - then the employee called me and informed me they could not do no sugar. She refused to refund me and was inflexible in cancelling the order. When I told her we did not want to pay for something he could not eat, she said "are you seriously going to have us waste all our food?" which doesn't make sense because why would she begin or start on an order that we did not confirm we could eat? Why would she accept the order in the first place if they could not remove sugar? The lack of flexibility and the inability of their POS system to cancel or refund was frustrating. This is not how you should talk to your customers on the phone - we would've went through and paid for the order, but she immediately began accusing us of "wasting" their food and time. Unfortunately, we will be taking our business elsewhere...

This is my go to for Thai food. Their food is excellent. The portions are a little larger than normal. The taste is exquisite. I haven't eaten in the restaurant before but it's ambiance and flow is very nice. It's quiet, with well thought out color schemes. I generally do pick up, ordered on their website as that way is cheaper than using DoorDa$h. The Pad Thai is scrumptious, the 9padthai is tasty but I prefer just getting the regular pad Thai. They use a lot of crushed peanuts in this dish, which I enjoy. I like how I can customize my dish with different proteins and add extra if I'd like. Scallions and I don't mix. I have them removed and they always get my order correct. The Moo Ping with rice is quite tasty. It's never over or under cooked and the pork is well seasoned, and the grill sauce goes well with the sticky rice. The staff are super friendly and eager to assist. I give this place 10/10. Their prices are comparable to other Thai places around Springfield but they come in a little cheaper while not reducing the quality of the food. Great place to...
