Updated Review July 21, 2025

We got takeout today from Le Thai. Food was amazing. There was no lines and no traffic when arriving there to pick up our order. This is our favorite place for food & has a special place in our hearts & stomachs. ———————————— July 7, 2025 Five Stars - A Hidden very low key food gem to experience.

I heard about Le Thai from a picky & very experienced foodie, cook, & beauty & spa owner in 2023 & their unique orange chicken. She said it was different from most orange chicken & her little boy loved it a lot. I finally came here, and the food was beyond my expectations.

We experienced no traffic and it was easy locating the place. We went for a late brunch around 3 PM-ish. First impressions, it seemed like a very small and low key restaurant. We ended up being the only ones in the tiny restaurant - an immense delight. The other party there left after we were served our food.

The ambiance was simple, quiet, and seemed like it had the decor you would see in Asian home. The menu was exciting with so many options and the lunch menu special was ideal in options and low affordable prices. I decided to get the orange chicken as a takeout and select the lunch special of green curry with chicken (an old favorite of mine) with spring rolls. My husband decided to get the shrimp fried rice. For a fun and new experience with something I never tried before. I selected the Thai Coffee (recommended by my server). My husband got the Thai Tea.

Our server was Pearl. She was professional, excellent in providing recommendations, and very amicable. I liked her immediately and rarely like servers that swiftly. She expedited food and services swiftly and efficiently. She was very intuitive and required little & no prompting as a server. The Thai coffee she recommended was the best coffee I ever tasted. She mentioned how wonderful the tilapia entree was and that is in my future meal order at this place.

We loved how delicious and fresh our food was. The green curry was good. My husband ate all of his shrimp fried rice quickly despite not feeling hungry. The portions were large for such low prices. I ate only half of my green curry and half of one spring roll. Saved the rest for dinner and had it packaged to go with my orange chicken take out.

We plan to make this a future date place and a place to order food from in the near future. The best way to order food is through them directly and not through other services like Grub hub. Pearl gave us the Le Thai card with scan code to get access to the menu & to...

Le Thai Cuisine is a fabulous find in the not so fabulous industrial area of Telegraph Rd. in Lorton, VA. We were having a lazy day and neither of us wanted to cook; so, we decided to order in. She wanted something "yummy and different" from our usual fare. I consulted the Grub Hub for nearby restaurants that delivered. Le Thai Cuisine is one that came up. We both like Thai food and their menu sounded good. Their prices seemed a bit steep for Lorton and their location seemed s little dodgy but their reviews made them seem like a solid pick. We ordered Pan Fried Mussels, Spicy Lemongrass Soup, Spicy Beef Salad, and Mango Sticky Rice. The app said it would be a 60-minute wait. Skip forward only 40 minutes later and a friendly chap was at our door with the food. Let me tell you, Le Thai Cuisine is a gem! The food wasflavorful and fantastic! And best of all FRESH! No wilted, hours-old veggies. No taste of food fried in overused oil. No seafood that seemed on the edge of expiring. Did they run out and harvest these just for us after the order was put in we asked ourselves in amazement. After we devoured what we thought were main courses and sated ourselves with the mango sticky rice, we looked their website and discovered we had ordered only appetizers and dessert (menu on Grub Hub didn't make thus clear). Even so, we were pleased and full and aware that if those were the size of the appetizers, we could probably share a full entree and both be well topped off. We will dine with them again. But they have proven they are worth a short ride to experience them in person. So, in summary, Le Thai Cuisine has great food and great service. Remember what i said about their prices? Well forget it. They are worth...

Updated June 2018: I think the place just got better. I had the basil chicken (want to go back and get the garlic and ginger versions as well!), but my dish was fantastic - and only $9!! The flavors of both dishes we ate was superb, and the spice level of mine was just right. Well done!!

Sandi welcomed my wife and me when we stepped in and it just got better from there. My wife was concerned about the location, but don't let the outside fool you. Indoors, you'll find a pleasant atmosphere, lots of military and locals alike eating a delicious lunch in close proximity. I had the red jerk chicken and my wife had the shrimp etouffee. We both loved them. The chicken was good and spicy. Very spicy. But Sandi had homegrown ghost peppers she offered to bust out if things weren't hot enough. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. Thai mixed with Cajun...what a find!!! (Apparently, this family has moved several times around the DC area over the past 20 years and they actually have a following because the dad is such...

I was really feeling like pad Thai, so that's what we went with. The pad Thai was top notch. The sauce was absolutely perfect and the heat level was exactly as expected. The chicken was perfectly good and I felt like the portions and price were good for what you get. It's about $12 a piece for the two meals. We also got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and while that was still good, it was not as good as my local option. The fried rice was fried, but could have been fried a bit longer. I could have also used a bit of cilantro in it and a little more pineapple or the chunks of pineapple cut smaller. Overall, I would eat here again, but would try something else and keep the pad Thai! There is a small section for dine in, but we ordered to go. The staff was very pleasant and the food was quickly made. Took less than 10 minutes and was still piping hot after a couple miles drive.

I cannot praise this place enough! I am obsessed with the orange chicken. It has the most addictive crust and the sauce is almost honey-like. My husband loves the chicken pad thai. The chicken fried rice is also DELICIOUS. We cannot eat here without getting the spring rolls. You must try the mango sticky rice, yum! The staff is absolutely wonderful and so genuinely eager to please their customers. They make you feel so welcome and they are so happy to see you! The prices are so good especially for good quality food. I will forever be thankful we found this little hidden gem.

Baby!!!! Let me tell you!!! Don't walk run, skip, hop! This is a small Thai place with limited seating. I decided to dine in. The owner's daughter I believe is very attentive and sweet. I order the hot chill wings and pad Thai. The wings, made me dance in my seat! Don't be a fool they are hot, but with a little sweet chili sauce you would be fine. The pad Thai was good too, but be aware if you ate anything Thai chili hot you not going to taste anything afterward. I am really glad I found this place!!! I really love that it's family owned!!!
