I come to this place often, when I dine in I have not always left a tip but when I do I leave WAY more than 20%. The other day i came in to eat, place was very crowded... after eating I just wanted to get out quick but I could not...So this woman starting shouting as she looked at me TIP TIP TIP! At first I did know what it was about , quick i realize she wanted me to leave a tip.... understandable she is looking for tip money this is how a lot of people make their living...but shouting to a paying customer in front everyone TIP TIP TIP is not the way to get it..she was extremely DEMANDING about it she scare me so much I ended up leaving her all my change. I always got a bad vibe from this lady ..this day she reafirm I was correct. She does not complain when you leave $10 on a $13 meal ..but when you dont tip one day she is on you like a hurricane trying to rip a tip out of your wallet. I really don't mind tipping ...I came back later that day to give her a $20 on top of what she demanded earlier... i gave her the money with a piece of advice...dont embarrass your paying customers shouting and demanding TIP TIP TIP! she gained about $26 that day but she LOST a customer for life..thank Got I can choose many other restaurants where they will be happy to receive money for the food I eat and will no demand TIP TIP TIP and have the commun sense to not embarras your paying customers like that. IF YOU GO HERE TO EAT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MONEY FOR TIP TIP TIP ...I think she is the type to SPIT in your food...
Read more20230411 5th time here...yummmm I'm stuffed! 😋 This is my 3rd time here in the past few years. I ordered the spicy seafood noodles soup and it was good but I had better. The 2nd time my friend picked up seafood fried rice, it was not good at all. I stopped in to give it another try, and ordered the stone pot bibimba, and it was good but need the red sauce or some salt. I like this dish the best because it has different types of veggies and just the right amount of meat. I'm not a meat eater and prefer small portions. If you like a lot of meat, this dish is not going to be satisfying. The stone pot dishes are the best because of flavor from the stone pot, and the stone pot keeps the food hot. Recommend ordering from the Korean menu. Service is great. They are very welcoming unlike most of the Korean restaurants I've been to. I like the little cold dishes served as soon as I sat down. When I finished one of the small dishes, the nice lady replaced it with another. I like and prefer supporting small businesses. Covid impacted the small businesses because they don't have politicians ensuring them that they will make a profit during challenging times. Please consider supporting small...
Read moreI was headed to Thai Box because it was close to Fort Belvoir on Memorial Day, but when we arrived to Thai Box, it was closed unfortunately. Hunan Deli was opened next door though, so out of desperation and hunger, we decided to eat here. I was strongly opposing it at first because before I eat anywhere, I always read reviews of restaurants beforehand, so I can get a general idea of what to expect. Once we entered inside, it looked exactly what you might expect from any Chinese take out delivery restaurant; poor decor and run down honestly. Also, there was a possible newborn crying in the back. The atmosphere was plain awkward. I felt regret already once stepping inside. But, things started to turn around when the food was ordered and arrived. I can't speak if the food is real Korean because I never ate real Korean food, but the food was delicious in my opinion. The prices are very cheap and you get way more than what you pay for. Overall, would I eat here again? Maybe out of sheer desperation and conveniences, yes, but with so many other restaurants around, I likely doubt I will...
