The Pub at Fiddlers Green — Restaurant in Los Alamitos

I have to admit that my expectations were not high. Look, it's a base facility and I've been on a few over the years. But I ordered the plank steak, which was called something like, Special Forces something or other, and I'm sorry for not remembering. Anyway, the steak was really, really, thick and very flavorful. It was really tender too. I have to admit I was blown away. I honestly don't know about their consistency to serve it the same way all the time, but wow, it was really good and the price was also excellent. The only thing I wish they would of offered would of been a baked potato, because although you do get two sides, other than the veggies, I wasn't really sold on the others. Would I eat there...

I live this small pub on Los Alamitos Air Force base. All you need to do is show your driver’s license and tell them you are going to the pub! The food is great and at a very reasonable price. They have an outdoor eating area which is nice during the pandemic. On Friday nights they have a fantastic rib special. You won’t believe the amount of meat is on the ribs! For sides I love their sweet potato fries, fried zucchini and onion rings. They give you a huge amount! Their pizza is also very good but so is everything else I have tried...
