I came to this DEERS location because the Army HRC told me they came to assist me and my dependents in updating my health benefits. The older guy who wears glasses in his office is right in front of the sign-in roster. He was insulting and impatient; he over-talked me when I tried to explain my situation. He informed me that this was a unit issue/ HRC. I tried to explain to him, and both my S1s contacted Tri-Care, Mil Connect, DEERS, and the HRC project office who all said the faster way to update my healthcare benefits was to come to an Army deers location. He told me that the only reason I’m going to update your status is because you have dependents, and I couldn’t help you. After this, he left the office and called the next person in. He didn’t tell me whether he updated my status or not. So I and this random person are sitting beside each other, confused. I asked him if he was done he said yeah, you can leave. I was confused about why I was being treated this way. I wasn’t rude. I heard him out, and I would like to submit an ICE Complaint, but this base...
Read moreYears ago I went to a course before headed to Iraq. It was a wonderful place and was so close to downtown LA. There’s a hiking trail around the old Navy golf course and I would go and walks there every day. It also has a lot of history to include the California Army National Guard historicalMuseum. I love being down here because of all the history and all the wonderful sites. as a young soldier, there were so much to see so much to do and right when you leave post, you’re at downtown so there are lots of amenities and other things that you can check out. It also has a large airfield and is home to the 40th infantry division. Fiddlers green is also wonderful. When I went through there at the open bar and when you order your dinner, you have the option of going out back and grilling it yourself. The on post housing was also super clean and for military installation was full...

I suggest arriving a little early, the show kicks off every year with the national anthem and it is not to be missed. Prepare to ask yourself several times throughout the night, “Was that the Grand Finale?” as there are multiple finales. No doubt you will enjoy it as...
