Starting Gate — Restaurant in Los Alamitos

So as clubs open back up some open up with high risk safety factor concerns. As the Starting Gate they do not care about the safety of their bartenders or customers. All they are concerned with is packing people in arm pit to arm pit just so they can make money. They do not have a crowd control and it gets way to packed on a Saturday night, extremely dangerous and a high safety violation. No enforced dress code, they are short handed on waitresses so the poor waitresses are running like crazy, getting verbally harassed by customers for taking to long. Their bartenders get beat up verbally, its a mess. The owners just sit back or jumps into take a few shots. Get more waitress staff and do crowd control by number counting and get a line outside. Arguments and fights are common and this is a high safety concern. You took your time to open back up after the pandemic, took the stimulus checks and delayed opening and took the money why not open right with safety measures in place, hire plenty of staff to tend to customers, and do...

I went 2 the starting gate last night. I got there about 25 minutes early so i can sit where i wanted. I had a great time. The comics were very funny . The 1st guy that went up was a short black guy. I forgot his name but i liked him so much....he could have stayed up there on stage 4 an hour. He was great. The food was good as usually. Of course Christy the waitress was super friendly. The host was on point. Funny man. I noticed that it was packed this week. Im glad i got there early. I wish they did this twice a week so i don't have 2 wait til next Tuesday. Anyway. I TOTALLY...

I've been going to this place, every now and then, since about 1985.. It's a convenient, local place, that's for the most part, a nice place to go... It's changed in different ways, over the years, from clientele, to its interior decor, and music.. But in all those years, the bathrooms remain the same... Dirty, broken, deteriorating, rundown, outdated, and SMELLY !!!! With the amount they charge for drinks, over all those years that I've been going there, you would think they could spend at least some of it to renew their bathroom...
