I just moved to this area, but this place really made me feel at home. The food was delicious, of course, but the service was extraordinary. I got the chicken plate with beans, rice, salad, and tortilla. It was great, but the meal also came with complementary chips and salsa, which was also amazing. The person who took my order came around 3 or 4 times during my meal to see if I needed anything else, so I was able to really enjoy my meal. I will be coming back to this place often.

This place is awesome! I came here looking for asada fries & they weren't on the menu but the owner gave the lovely lady who may be his wife the nod to make them! Soccer on the tv & lots of room plus table service. Quality nachos but the asada fries had to be taken home! It's on Adams & Redondo on the corner across from the laundry mat. The food is great & you can eat inside or outside in front.

Located in the heart of West Adams, is a hidden gem. I had the steak, pork belly, cheese dish, served with beans and rice. Delicious. The agua fresca, Pina and Jamaica were good. The Pina was frothy but good. My guest had Alambres, a dish of asada, cheese, Al pastor, chuelta, bacon, and peppers and onions. Delicious. Will repeat when in the area.

My new favorite restaurant in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Las Ranas Cafe is a rustic Mexican eatery with friendly service, wholesome food and reasonable prices.

What sets this place apart from the many fantastic Mexican restaurants in the city is the fresh ingredients and soul-soothing healthy options, like fresh pressed orange juice (jugos naranja) fron-scratch soups, stews, and salads.

Health concious folks who frequent organic juice bars, and fitness finatics carefully counting their macros, here's the family-owned hidden jem you've been looking for.

Pandemic safety precautions are top notch here. Vaccine card required for dine-in customers, only a couple tables, placed more than 20 feet apart. A few patio tables out front to choose from.

Order ahead, and pick up a few grocery items, like bottled drinks as well as ready-to-purchase snacks and Latin desserts.

I was greeted by the owner with a super friendly smile before hearing some suggestions and placing my order at the register.

The caldo de pollo is exquisite. Fresh carrots and zucchini still have the knife carved lines visible, and a little crunch to them, my favorite. The stewed chicken, on the bone, has all fresh qualities of an organic hen, bought from the butcher, or farm, not sold in a bag. The broth is clear and light, with just an occasional pinch of fresh green herbs, and a mild flavor reminiscent of the best chicken soup your mom made if she was trying to get you better. An enormous bowl of this miracle-cure soup comes with a side of corn tortillas, onions, cilantro and limes.

The menu has a lot of options. Traditional Mexican sandwiches, Spanish breakfasts, birria, burritos, enchiladas, tacos, ceviche, whole fried tilapia, and more.

Dtinks: Aguas frescas, Pina, mango, strawberry, and mixed fruit. Glass bottled imported sodas, smoothies, juice, canned drinks and coffee.

You will be given a very warm welcome here. And great food, for a...

Came here for lunch while working down the street, pretty decent food, you got me and my pops a burrito (tounge) It had a lot of flavor to be honest, also give us some chips salsa,. Green salsa and red chipotle sauce they were both really good almost finished the bottle on my burrito. To be honest the burrito looked a bit small but at the end I could barely finish it, great atmosphere too will defenetly be...
