Had the most bizarre experience at this place. We ordered then sat down with my family. While I was on my way to restroom (outside), this lady stopped me before entering the restroom and asked me to follow her. She insisted and told me I couldn't go to restroom if I didn't follow her so followed her to the restaurant. As she got in, she sat on my table (and my chair) started to ask questions like "why are you here?" "This is not a popular place, why did you come here?", "where are you from?" We answer politely that we were not from here and that saw this on our way to the Getty and that we would appreciate it if we could be left alone. She said that it was her restaurant so we had to answer her questions. Of course we didn't need to put up with that so my wife asked me if we could leave this place. Even on our way out, she kept yelling at us "next time you better answer my questions!!" Do yourself a favor and don't ruin your day with this place. I felt terrible for the kids working at...
Read moreWe were searching for a quick bite to eat near our hotel, and after some googling we came across Manny’s Pizzeria. The restaurant setting was dull and kind of bleak. The pizza took a good while to be served to us, the size of the pizza was ridiculous and very disappointing considering the cost of it, $15 for a so called 8 slice pie, it was extremely small! Each slice was almost a quarter of what an actual pizza slice would be. Normally an 8 slice pizza would be fine for 3 people, but sadly this wasn’t the case. The pizza was very oily and greasy, leaving the tast to be just mediocre overall. We left the restaurant not satisfied and still hungry. I’m sorry to say that I will not be returning to...
Read moreThis place has awesome pizza and attentive customer service. Their desserts are all only $5 for a pretty solid portion size (they offer New York cheesecake, tiramisu, and chocolate cake). I got the Cheese Lover's Pizza and the tiramisu, and both were delicous. They have an adorable patio area with Italian cafe-style chairs/tables and pretty flowers so you can sit outside and enjoy the sun, or you can chill inside and watch sports on the TV while you wait for your food if you'd prefer. It's also walking distance from the Getty Center and the Hotel Angeleno (and way less pricey than the hotel restaurant) but they have free delivery if you don't want to walk. I'd definitely...
