Sirocco — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I feel awful leaving this review, as I believe the experience may have been due to the lack of staffing people are experiencing lately.

Drinks: cocktails were Applebee’s standard and the restaurant doesn’t have a visible bar, so order at your own risk.

Food: It ok, nothing great especially for the price.

Service: the servers personally were kind. But holy cow, were they ever inattentive! There were two servers, and about 7 tables of people. We waited about 15 minutes from ordering to delivery of our cocktails. Food came about 15 minutes after that (ordered at the same time). We sat with empty places and empty glasses for 25 minutes before we could even flag down a server to get our check and waited another 15 minutes to actually receive it.

I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Brentwood. It is so reasonably priced and the staff are very accommodating. I have eaten here for almost every meal for 5 days. The avocado toast is incredible. The portion sizes are great and the price is very acceptable. Highly recommend. Also, they make substitutions very easily. Amazing restaurant, both dine-in and as room service at the hotel. Everything we had was delicious and amply portioned. The chinese salad was enormous and imaginative, and the truffle fries were flawless.
