Since it opened in the mid 1950s, ANTONIO'S PIZZERIA and ITALIAN RESTAURANT, a neighborhood, Chicago style, Italian eatery, has created delicious, cooked from scratch, Northern and Southern Italian cuisine.

RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Steven Lunardon, co-owner with his brother, Chef Alex offer a delicious, surprisingly complex menu of conventional, vegan, and gluten free, salads, pizza, pasta, poultry, fish, meat entries, and scrumptious desserts.

Reese, our server, answered our questions, describing the dishes.

Even in this very crowded restaurant service is amazingly fast. The large, chilled, crisp (personal-sized) salads are delivered within a few minutes.

The main course arrived fifteen minutes later. Our menu choices included Vegan Pizza, two orders of gluten-free Chicken Parmesan, and Pasta Ricotta. For dessert: Chocolate Windmill Cake and Carrot Cake. Portions are generous.

As a vegan, I found the medium, thick crust pizza had the wonderful flavor of Chicago pizza. I took home a couple of slices. (In college, I learned to enjoy cold pizza and warm, flat beer for breakfast.) The rest of the table enjoyed their large meals and also took their leftovers home. Unfortunately, the gluten free desserts were not vegan. However, my table mates devoured them.

STUFF: Comfortable booths line two walls. Tables are rearranged to support group dinning. The bathrooms and restaurant are ADA compatible. There is a low step from the parking lot into the rear of the restaurant. The front entrance is flat. Some free ADA parking is available behind...

I have been coming to Antonio's for almost 20 years and my experiences have always been great. I love their food especially their pizzas and meatball sandwich and have tried to share the same experiences and nostalgia that I have from when I was a kid with my now wife. Even still to this day the brother and sister owners do a great job. Whenever the sister is working she is great, attentive, friendly, and she remembers us, always and without question and hesitation. It really makes it feel home like. However this past time with my wife the brother was working and gave my wife a hard time about having a bottle of water we brought from home. My wife does not drink tap water and is pregnant so I always try to make sure she has water with her no matter where we are. But this last time she was asked to not bring in outside food or beverages in a rather unfriendly way that really our a damper on our dining experience. Not to mention I have been bringing water bottles here for years and have never had that reaction from the restaurant nor did I know it was their rule. It would have been nice to know that and it would have been nice to be spoken to with less of an attitude. Especially since there is a picture of me on their wall as they sponsored my little league team! That and the rolls that were brought out to us were ice cold, which was a first for me. I will still come back here because I love this place and one bad experience won't...

When I tell you from start to finish, I felt like I was sitting with family. That’s not something I say lately.

I wasn’t even intentionally trying to go to this restaurant, but the universe has a strange way of putting you exactly where you need to be and I ended up having at least 5 to 6 different dishes at this restaurant because I was entangled with the chef the sunlight the ambience, the service the Care, the absolute downright home feeling I got once I sat my butt in a seat! For someone who doesn’t go out often, this is absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve had in decades!

It was warm, inviting, loving, inspiring, and truly truly a masterpiece on all the dishes that I had the opportunity to experience!

This place was an absolute delight, especially coming from someone who lives one block away who didn’t even know this beautiful gym was sitting right up the street from me. I am so grateful to write this review because not only was the food amazing, the service, and I am a very particular snooty stuck up whatever you wanna call it I’m that lol! and without hesitation and every request was done with enjoyment, I watch the games this place I don’t even wanna give the review because I don’t even want you guys showing up lol!

But with the wonderful experience, I had I would Remissed if I did not.❤️

if you haven’t been, you should go. Every meal is delightful. The ambience is welcoming and it’s worth...

PROMO: Mention ROCKSTAR EATER for FREE RISOTTO BALLS with Dine-In! My time @antoniospizzeria in Sherman Oaks. This is one of the long standing restaurants in the neighborhood that specializes in old school Italian American food. Their specialty of course is the pizza. I also got their cheese stuffed knots, pasta rossa, and housemade salad. The strawberry lemonade was also great. Dont miss out on this restaurant for some nice, feel good food in Sherman Oaks! . . . . . #losangelesrestaurants #losangeleslifestyle #losangelesfoodie #lafood #shermanoaks #venturablvd #pizzería #antonios #oldrestaurant #foodbloggers #lahotspot #larestaurants #lafoodies #shermanoaksca #wheretoeat

This pizzeria was the best restaurant we found in LA! As tourists, me and a friend wanted to experience italian cuisine made in america. Suffice to say this was a gem we found! We ordered a pasta putanesca and a medium sized DIY pizza. All the ingredients were super fresh and the food was filling. The medium pizza is more than enought for the average person. We paid a little under 40$ for the meal, without drinks or dessert. It was refreshing to eat at a place in america were you feel you are eating real food and not something thats processed out of recognition. The staff was super cordial and welcoming and it was refreshing to see a place were they dont slam a 20% tip in your face and stare at you so you feel remorse if you dont tip!
