What I love about Big Fat Burger is versatility. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a comforting dinner, they seem to have you covered. The chili fries are a definitely delicious. While the steak sandwich good, my personal favorite has to be their classic cheeseburger with grilled onions. Just delicious! The service is always nice, adding to the overall positive experience. Yes, the place itself might feel a little dated, but honestly, that's part of its charm. It lends a sense of nostalgia and reinforces that feeling of a true, classic burger joint. If you're looking a reliable spot for a fantastic classic cheeseburger (especially with those grilled onions!) and satisfying chili fries, Big Fat Burger is a must-try. Don't let the slightly worn decor fool you.

Very low quality burger joint. Chicken nuggets are the same frozen bags you get at Costco. My pastrami sandwich was 85% bread and a thin layer of meat, I've included a picture you be the judge. The pastrami itself was good but come on I've seen more pastrami added on other restaurant's pastrami burger than this whole sandwich. It was my first time trying Big Fat and I was extremely disappointed. I did add a star for staying open late as most other noon fast food burger joints were already closed after 5 pm. In conclusion I will not be going back anytime soon.

Hmm.. all of these 5 star ratings are pretty puzzling to me. I decided to stop there one night after work and here was my experience:

  1. hair inside the food container;
  2. screwed up my order;
  3. bland, boring, mediocre flavor;
  4. it's a dive, but an expensive one: nearly $20 to eat for one person made it overpriced; and,
  5. they wouldn't let me eat there for five minutes because they were closing! :-/ All that adds up to one star. It's in the middle of the Valley, so no big surprises here. All of these nice-sounding, well-intending but delusional people who give it 5 Stars and call it 'the best burger in town' clearly haven't wandered too many blocks from their cages, and certainly can't have dined much along the Boulevard, in the city or on the west side (or anywhere else for that matter) or they wouldn't be saying that. About the best I can say is the food was edible. I think you're far better off going to your local Cupid's, Fatburger, Five Guys or...

Big Fat has been a valley staple for decades.

A small shack offering greasy bites of American and Mexican classics.

They are known for their double bacon cheeseburgers.

I have been coming here for years and you get good size portions for the price you pay.

Made to order.

Called today for a double bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and ranch.

Two large patties with American cheese, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce with a toasted bun.

Total came to $18. Refills are $1.50. Ranch is 75 cents.

Man said it will be ready in 5 mins.

Came home and the burger was missing the bacon and onions :-(.

Because of this I really tasted the patty. Even though the burger looks,smells and tastes pretty good, it lacked seasoning which would have put it over the top.

Onion rings were forgettable. Breading was subpar.

Huge potential...
