We came in for coffee, but the food looked so delicious, we decided to stay for breakfast. We had the English Butty, which comes with a homemade English muffin and was absolutely delicious. We also had the smoked waygu tri-tip corned beef hash and it was so so yummy--the meat was really tender and flavorful, like wow! I think that was a holiday dish, but it was very very good. I'm definitely going to come back and try some of their other dishes, because I know it's all going to taste fantastic. We also had a drip coffee, a Chai latte w/ espresso, and one of their lavender lemonades--the lemonade was super tasty and refreshing. I like the atmosphere for sure, and I definitely recommend this restaurant :) Edit: I came in for the Eggs Benedict, which was fantastic, and the Tuna melt, which has very fresh bread and homemade chips. We also tried a slice of the carrot cake, and it was perfect! Super light with a hint of citrus. I love this place :) update: the peaches and cream pancakes are amazing, definitely try them when they are on the menu, and their omelets are very good :)

My sister found this little place and chose it for her birthday brunch.. the reviews were good and I'm inclined to agree! The pancakes were fluffy and crisp on the edges, and my bisquits and gravy (while not terribly attractive) was better than I hoped for (they use turkey sausage which is often not fatty enough to be good for BnG but not in this case. I found it quite tasty, but a pork lover might be inclined to disagree). My aunt got the Panwich; sausage and egg wrapped in a pancake, and liked it in spite of a funny taste towards the end of her meal (the pancake tasted a tiny bit overcooked, it really didnt stop her from enjoying the rest of her meal). My uncle got an omelet with sausage and potatos, and was looking forward to the leftovers 😄. The coffee was refilled frequently, and the wait time was minimal (considering it was saturday around lunch). The staff were super attentive and sweet, as well. Parking is a little cramped, check for directions to the parking in rear maybe. All in all, a fantastic place for brunch! Will be back for the eggs Benedict!

This place was a recommendation from the surgeon that fixed my husband's broken ankle. I'm soooo glad he told me to go there! I didn't notice their sign outside that mentioned all organic and locally sources ingredients until we left. Everything here was great! If your anywhere near Northridge and you appreciate good food that's actually good for your body you have to try this place! You pay for what you get, but they do offer a 4% discount if you pay in cash. My 9yo son came with me and we each had breakfast burritos. They make their own tortillas every morning! My son had the standard burrito and loved it. I had the Piccadillo burrito with spicy grass fed beef and all the fixings. The spiciness was on point, but the sour cream cooled things down for me. Drip coffee and handmade hot chocolate were just what we needed! My son even had a lemon Danish for dessert. I think they even have live music there... Go for the food, stay for coffee and dessert!

We arrived to this place for brunch. When we put our name down we were told the wait was about 30 minutes. We were sent a link to follow our place in line on yelp. We waited patiently over an hour. When my friend decided to go ask about our place in line the girl who was attending apologized and mentioned the two people before us had not responded or checked in and she failed to notify who ever was next, this being us. Therefore she worked on getting us a table and seemed apologetic enough. We sit down order our food and drinks at the same time. Drinks come out and then we observe people who sat down around us later got there food sooner. This seemed odd and my suspicion was confirmed when the same girl who helped us to our table brought us two warm pastries while our food was ready . This taking place about 25 minutes after our order was placed. I realize at this point she clearly forgot about our food, my friend thought to go and pay inside and get it to go as I was so irritated at this point. The waitress then said as a courtesy she was not charging the drinks or pastries( we did not ask for) since the burritos our food we ordered was her mistake. Aside from making us wait. I told her to cancel our order on the food and just charge the drinks. She did it with an attitude I of course had a right to be angry. She admitted she forgot our food and forgot about calling us in. When I told her this she said that it was the tablet and not her and why would I blame it on her. Well she told my friend she failed to follow up with us after the two no shows so that was her problem. Her not placing our food order on time also was her problem . Then a guy who was sitting off in the side with his mask half off with the nose not covered, observes the situation nodding his head, he decides to jump in her defense and say I am being rude to her. She, the waitress even called out the fact that our wait time was in my car so why was I complaining. My problem is that we were patient. We waited, We ordered, we waited some more, she forgot to call us, she forgot to place our order, she didn’t mention her mistake until she was caught, then she attacked us, the patient customers. I’m also pretty sure that, had we not been Hispanic and her White, she would not have felt ok attacking us when she was clearly the one that made the mistakes. Some would think, maybe they were busy, but the fact is they weren’t. The seating area has a small capacity so she wasn’t overwhelmed with orders. If she was having a stressful day and could not handle the workload that is not on the...

As fans of Humble Bee Bakery and Cafe, we’ve been wanting to try Humble Bee Pie for a while, but unfortunately we’re outside of their delivery area so we were glad when we happened to be in the area on a Sunday (which in our family is the sacred pizza night.)

It’s a small store front with just a few tables so I’d imagine it’s mostly a delivery operation, so don’t head there with a big crowd or with expectations of a dining room like their other restaurant.

The food was great. As a family of three with different taste we were worried about ordering three large expensive pizzas, but luckily they have an unadvertised personal size that made this really doable. Our son (8 years old) had a basic cheese and sauce pizza which he liked.

My wife had a gluten free version of Lauren’s Vegan Pizza which she also liked, though after a while the roasted garlic and rosemary spread became a bit too rich for her…Though the gluten free dough was spot on. She’d go back and try something tomato sauce based.

And I had a Walk on the Sunny Side without the bacon lardons, which I thought was very tasty, though also a bit rich after a while.

It’s great to have quality artful pizza creations in the Valley…especially in the middle of the valley, though we wish they connected with one of the delivery services like Doordash that would extend their delivery range to us on the other side of Sepulveda as we enjoy the convenience of ordering online. (Though I recall they did say they do deliver as far as us sometimes, but they have to not be as busy and we have to call in to make it happen.)

We’ll definitely be back. Someday! Sooner if we...

Went for breakfast. It was cute, have driven by it thousands of times never noticed it but did a Google search for best breakfast near me and it came up. The parking is very limited. The wait to be seated was only about 10 mins. The staff was very nice. They have a very limited menu. But that's ok Id rather go someplace with a limited number of items on the menu but they do them all well instead of a cafe with to many choices and they don't do most item on their menu justice. This place is supposed to be organic and wholesome. I had Cinnamon Apple Short Stack. The apples were ok not great but not bad. the pancakes were really good. I also ordered a Side of Eggs Benedict and Canadian Bacon. The eggs were slightly over done but again not bad the Holindaise sauce was Spectacular. The Ham was good but a little over cooked so it was beginning to dry out but again it was not bad. The coffee was nice full bodied. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was nice, very clean country kitchen. Loved the fact that I could watch the waiters constantly wash their hands. The Price was the only thing I was surprised at, my breakfast cost i little over $35.00 + tip. WOW

Over all it was a good experience and I typically view food like the more I pay the better I expect it to be. The food did not live up to the price but it was good. If the price was more manageable i would come back again but Im afraid ill have to pass...
