Kona Ice North Valley LA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I finally got the chance to try out Kona Ice today when they were parked at the Northridge Farmers Market. I booked this truck for our baby shower in two weeks so I wanted to give them a try first. The lady working the truck at the Farmers Market was very nice and answer any follow up questions I asked after I told her I booked the truck for our baby shower. I waited for my nephew to join me and then we ordered our cup.

We went with the klassic cup because the weather was kind of cold. I went with the groovy grape, ninja cherry and watermelon wave on my cup. I believe my nephew went with the monkey business, flavor of the day and tiger blood for his. We enjoyed our shaved ice. I didn't put a lot of flavor on mine so when I ate half of my cup, I went back to ask if I could add more flavor and the lady said I could. I had a great time eating the shaved ice and I can't wait for people at our baby shower to try it. Hopefully the weather will be on the not so cold side. Every time I see this truck it makes me happy! I have come across Kona Ice every where from the Spartan Race to Northridge Farmer's Market and other fun places along the way. At one point I bought refillable souvenir cup that I keep in in my car, that way when I randomly come across a Kona Ice truck I have a great excuse to buy one ;)

Recently I was put in charge of organizing vendors for the Beverly Glen Fair. We hadn't invited the Kona Ice truck before but I had a feeling they would be a hit. They were very friendly and accommodating, even though I contacted them last minute they were able to fit a time slot in for us!

Todd was our guy for the fair and he was so great! Fun, energetic, and easy to work with.

If you are looking for a fun vendor to have at your next event, I highly recommend Kona Ice. They are a hit with kids and adults!

Hands down, one of the best vendors I have ever worked with. Not sure how I cross path with them but ever since I started with my Elementary PTA we have partnered with Kona Ice for after school events and other school events. The kids and the families love it, the price point is fair and all their employees have been so friendly and punctual. They were so amazing to my elementary school that I have now introduced them to my middle school and they have continued their amazing service to both schools.
