When I’m in LA, this is one of my favorite places to have breakfast or lunch. The food is usually great with the service to match. My sister made me aware that things were changing at Bloom, but figured the incident was a one off and ordered my omelet anyway. The waiter, a very nice European man, served us. Two minutes after getting out omelettes my sister discovered a gray hair the length of bangs. So we told the waiter, he took the plate and offered to make a new plate. My sister opted out because she was nauseous at this point and chose to just drink her green juice. The waiter comes back twisting the hair between his fingers and tells us “there’s no one in the kitchen with hair like this.” Now I’m upset and cannot eat my food. When the waiter comes back with the check we tell him that as customers (who just found a hair in their food) we felt disrespected and felt as though we were being accused of planting a hair. First, don’t come back with hair! Our stomachs are turning at the thought that this hair was almost consumed. Second, we, as customers, do not care where the hair came from! The staff, the distributors, a cat passing by.. it doesn’t matter. The answer should always be sorry about that, not one one had gray hair!! When you come out with that answer it’s portrayed as accusatory. And lastly, I’m okay with mistakes at restaurants, it’s about how the mistakes get resolved. I walked in starving but excited about great food only to leave feeling like our business wasn’t needed and we were the problem. Next time I’ll go a few blocks down...
Read moreDon't EVER go to this place the manager (Asian girl) has the worst attitude and is so very Fake. I literally saw her turn from extremely nice to her customer to extremely nasty when talking her as a part of a filming crew. I came in there twice and even asked her why she had such a nasty attitude she told me that she was being direct very argumentative. And the worst part is I live in the neighborhood and have ate at the restaurant, had a couple of meetings there but I will never step foot in there again. I tried to be civil once I saw she was going to keep her attitude.
My film crew wanted to try the food at the different spots on Pico and we went to My 2 Cents, The Spot on Pico, we even shopped at the Market to the left of Bloom Cafe and every single business was extremely nice and professional. I will never ever eat here again. I even listed them as a do not support on my Facebook, Instagram and I will be tweeting my experience. She meaning the manager is the worst kind of person the one who is not genuinely nice she is that Fake nice.
I even saw a couple of employees snickers when I called her out on her attitude.
Lesson number one lady treat everyone how you would like to be treated!!!! Just because I didn't spend any money at that moment doesn't mean I would not have bought you lots business later.

Read moreCame on a lil lunch date with myself to a place I've had on my list for a while. Today has been a productive day, so I treated myself with some evening dinner.
I ordered the Soba Tufu Noddle Salad with Sweet Potatoes Fries. The noodles weren't bad. I thought they would have been served warm, but instead it's served cold. Which I get since it's a salad after all, haha. I really didn't like the Tofu. Tofu isn't something I've been able to get into, so I ate everything, but the tofu. The spicy red salsa was yummy; I liked it with the noodles. I can easily warm the rest of the noodles up in my skillet and have it the next day.
The Sweet Potatoe Fries, OMFG!!! So crispy and delicious. Deadass the BESTT sweet potatoe fries I've ever had. Very ASMR-y and will definitely be finished later today. I also brought some Wingstop Mustard Sauce with me, so I had that as a dressing for the fries, hahaaa.
Service was so sweet and welcoming. The server, who's name I didn't get, brought out my food in a very fast manner and has pretty colored eyes. I decided to eat inside and flies were still surrounding me. I thought eating inside meant no disturbances, but nope. Having to keep swatting flies away got annoying, but IT IS, WHAT IT ISSSSSSS.
The fries were my favorite part of the meal, but I'm still gonna eat the noodles at home and spice them up in...
