I enjoy Indian food very much so when I find an establishment that hits, I gotta talk about it.
Let's start off with some basics: there is parking. Parking in the back that's free and metered parking in thr front. Both myself and My best GPS-ed our way to this location and we both had it take us to the back entrance. Not sure if that's normal, but you're not alone if you experience that. We dined on a Frida not close to 7pm and I gotta say, the place was almost empty. When I walked in, there were two other groups of people dining and that was all. Usually a red flag, right? But I was there so I was gonna bite the bullet and take my chance. And perhaps people there were so few of there that's why service was great. Who else were they waiting on. I will say I noticed there take out service was steady, so maybe they're more popular on DoorDash or UberEats.
Now, the food. I dove right and we did family style. My best and I orderer two entress and updated them to the dinner combos (which comes with naan, soup or salad and a dessert) but shared everything. And we learned that was the right way to go. We had the chicken coconut curry, spice level: medium - that will be the yellow-ish dish in the photos. And we ordered the lamb vindolo, aslo medium spice level. We also order a the Bharta, mild spice level, just in case our other food was too spicy....you know how Indians/Asians be doin' it. Tryin' to murder you with food with those chilis. We upgraded our naan to the garlic cheese naan (definitely do that), we both opted for the lentil soup (eh, it was alright. I've had better. My best friend didn't really like it. She said it had too many other vegetables) and for dessert, my best friene had their rice pudding and I had their mango khalfi (did I spell that right?) Ice cream. No to the rice pudding - that's for people with special taste but yes to the mango ice cream.
All in all it was good. Would I go back? Hell yeah. I would try other things next time, like their shrimp curry or butter chicken. And I would still get the cheesy garlic naan. And the bill was very decent. We split the check and it came out to $41 a piece. Your broke friends can afford...

If Bollywood Indian Restaurant were a movie, it would sweep every award for Best Picture, Best Cast, and Best Supporting Naan! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of cinematic perfection.
First, let’s talk about the star of the show: Saju, our waiter extraordinaire. This man could teach a masterclass in hospitality! Saju made us feel like VIPs, guiding us through the menu with enthusiasm and charm. He cracked jokes, shared his favorite dishes, and even made us feel like we were the main characters in our own Bollywood film. By the end of the night, we wanted to nominate him for “Best Leading Waiter” at the Oscars.
Now, the food? Oh, chef’s kiss. We started with the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was so rich and flavorful, I’m convinced the chef added a pinch of magic. The Lamb Korma was tender and perfectly spiced—it practically melted in our mouths. And the Garlic Cheese Naan? Let’s just say it deserves its own standing ovation. It was the perfect sidekick to the main dishes, cheesy and garlicky in all the right ways.
Bollywood Indian Restaurant isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. Between the incredible food and Saju’s unforgettable service, we left feeling like we’d just stepped off the red carpet. If you haven’t been, what are you waiting for? Grab your friends, your appetite, and get ready for a delicious adventure worthy of a standing ovation.
Five stars, and if I could give Saju a sixth...
Read moreMy family and I went to this place based on its good reviews. We were extremely disappointed. My son and I ordered the mix tandoori grill description of which is taking 4 lines in the menu. However when they brought in the order we both had to share a small plate of rice and a small plate of grills. Each one got exactly 1 cube of chicken, 1 cube of lamb and 1 piece (about 1 in long) of grilled ground beef. Each one got 1 quarter tandoori chicken. Meat tested ok but lamb and ground beef was too dry. There was also a small plate of vegetables to share. My wife ordered butter chicken and she totally disliked it. She said it had no Indian spice. She left more than half of it. It was supposed to come with rice. So she asked for her rice. They charged us $5.99 for her rice. Salad only had apple vinegar on it. Nothing else. She couldn't eat it. Also her order said comes with naan. When she asked for it they again charged us $5. For it. We ended up paying $127 for the three of us for food that's extremely small in quantity and below average in taste. To make things worse, server had no training on what not to do when serving: like not touching customer fork when taking their plates or putting his thumb in the middle of the clean plate when putting it for the customer. Dining room was almost empty so he was sitting on one of the tables. Something I...
