Burrito Factory — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I lived in the area for a couple of years before I even tried this place. After my first visit, I was hooked. I am a believer that you can always judge a Mexican restaurant by its cheese enchilada. (If you can mess up a cheese enchilada, I'm not trusting you with meat.) So for my first visit, I ordered the 2 cheese enchiladas which came with rice and beans on the side. The beans and rice were good not great... What you would could find at any local Mexican food joint. The enchiladas on the other hand were PERFECT. The tortillas were soft and moist, not chalky... The cheese was abundant and gooey throughout both ends of the enchilada. The big star though was the ENCHILADA SAUCE. It was amazing. Just the right amount of spices (without being spicy.) Even if you order a burrito, you can experience this delicious sauce by ordering your burrito "enchilada style." You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try this. Other top choice is a Hard Shell Taco. DELICIOUS.

The ambiance is casual. It is what you'd expect from a local, affordable Mexican place... Extra points for ALWAYS being impeccably clean. I tend to order to-go anyway. I was craving a burrito and or tacos, within the area there is a limitation to good authentic mexican food at reasonable prices. I got a burrito de asada (steak) and well it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. I also ordered hard shell chicken tacos, these were actually far better than the burrito. The tacos were packed with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. The food is also served with chips, I liked that they did that, bit the chips were kind of still. There are definitely better places out there that serve this type of food, but hey when you got to eat and are craving it this place will do...

Says there open online and they changed there schedule, why serve breakfast if you open at 10:30. Seen 4 people come to the door just like I did in the time it took me to write this...... you need to open sooner! Oh and no one else is charging extra for meat, there's a shortage of meat not an increase of price but they will charge more. I come for the breakfast only....
