Terrible staff! I went to the drive-thru, then realized later that night that the young male cashier hadn't returned my ATM card. I immediately called, but got their voicemail. I left a message, then called again in the morning. The young lady who answered confirmed that my ATM card was there, but did not apologize for the restaurant's error. She just said, "Yeah, it's here." I went to pick it up later that day. 2 different staff looked for it in several places, including the safe, but could not find it. Another staff member, an older woman, was on break, sitting nearby in the restaurant. She started speaking in Spanish (which I do not speak) to those looking for my card. Then after asking me what time I came to the drive-thru, she said it was not possible that my card wasn't returned because she was the only person working at that time, and she did not serve me. She repeatedly told me there was no young male cashier at that time. She said I must have gone to a different Carl's Jr! I told her I was certain it was this location, and the cashier I spoke to on the phone had confirmed that my card was there. She kept arguing with me while the other staff looked nervous. I asked her if she was calling me a liar. She said no, but repeated that she was the only person working at the drive-thru. In Spanish, one of the other workers told her to call the manager, which she did. After the call someone looked in the safe again, where they found my card! The older lady who had been on break was now behind the counter , standing in front of me. She was still arguing with me, even though I had been proven right! Holding my card up for her to see, I told her that instead of calling me a liar and arguing she should be apologizing! She rolled her eyes and said a weak, "Sorry," then continued to give me attitude! I couldn't believe it! I told her I did not appreciate being treated in such a rude manner, especially after having driven 10 miles to come back for my card, which had already been confirmed by another worker to have been there. She just rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, well." I told her I was going to call Carl's Jr to file a complaint, to which she said, "That's fine, go ahead." Read moreBy far the worst fast food service i received; there's a limit to how much ill brush off as human error. The situation is as follows: I pull up to the window; the employee asks if i want to try their tropical lemonade; i say i want it in large with light ice; i then order a 5 piece tenders and a jalapeno double cheese, both a la carte; he asks if i want to add chicken stars and i decline; when i pull to the next window, im charged almost $30 for my order; i ask for a order review and pick up that they added the chicken stars anyway, so i get it removed, but my meal still feels to pricey; im given my food and notice my drink is full of ice and a small fry is in my bag; double checking the receipt, i realize they not only added chicken stars, but also upgraded my a la carte tenders into a meal and made my tropical lemonade a drink upgrade. That means my order price was increased by both the meal and drink upgrades, yet all i get in return is a small fry i never even asked for. That also means that the employee taking my order literally got every aspect of it wrong except the burger; and to top it all off, the fries were bland...

The woman handed our drink and as soon as we went over the bump coming out of the drive thru- the cap popped off and we got soda all over the car. We went around the drive thru again and told them what happened. The woman had so much attitude and said that "it could have been from earlier" but we had our cold milkshakes and the receipt from less than 5 minutes ago. She said 1.50 for a refill...I dont remember ever having to pay for a refill. But we paid and asked please can we just have some napkins. She gave us 1 napkin. Come on!! Why so stingy with napkins? We are paying (twice even) customers. She refused to look at the receipt and handed us two more napkins. Shut the little window. So rude for no reason. To top it all off- the refill top was also not on securely!! So it could have spilled all over again!!
Bottom line: check your lid, bring your own napkins, and prepare for some serious additude problems.
We will NEVER return after being treated so badly. And too bad because we live right...
