$30 spent on a 10 piece shrimp combo and 3-piece chicken tender combo. There was no other customers when we arrived, we waited 20 minutes before our order was ready. Then I still had to go beck to the counter to get the 2 chicken wings that I ordered on the side. I needed to use the rest room before driving back home to Redondo Beach, epic fail. The commode was filthy. The seat was raised up and it was nasty. I had seen this before I would have never ordered food. Now beck to the food review…..this location is using the franchise name but not the franchise recipe. While the chicken was hot, it DID NOT HAVE the Louisiana Fried Chicken brand taste. I’ve been eating this brand for years and this location needs to get it together. The shrimp were good but again not using the distinct brand flavor. Needless to say, they need not worry about me returning to eat here. My 16 year old son said the chicken tenders were ok but not like the Louisiana fried chicken on Manchester and Normandie in South Central LA.

I’m a big fan of the Louisiana Fried chicken craze because of “Howlin Ray’s” & “Dave’s hot chicken,” so I wanted to try this spot out too. I ordered the 5 Shrimp, 2 fish, 2 chicken & 5 piece bbq chicken wings. The shrimp was good(plump and juicy pieces), fish was good(tender and flaky) and the fried chicken was great. The chicken wings were delicious too. This place has more of a Popeyes type feel/setup & the diner is limited in space/seating so to go might be a better option. I forgot to get dipping sauces which I think would of complimented the entrees, but on their own, they were still good. Also keep in mind that parking is limited & I definitely recommend this spot and more of a 3.5 out of 5.

This is specific to the Tarzana Location. Waited 10 minutes in a line of 1, they are slow and disorganized, but that was the least upsetting part of this place. 1) The owner/manager sat at a table with a mask barely on his face, nose completely uncovered. 2 The bathroom door was open and filthy. 3) The cook came out to talk to the cashier, he wasn't wearing a mask, nor did he have one anywhere on his person. If you care about cleanliness or your health whatsoever in this pandemic I would avoid this place at all costs.

It was a Saturday afternoon. We ordered our food to eat it in. There was a bit of confusion during ordering, said what I wanted, asked if I wanted something else, several times. Finally got our order in, paid and grabbed a table. We noticed two guys at another table fidgeting, they were there well before us. Other people that were before us also were getting their food so one of the two got up and asked how much longer, ends up their food was all wrapped up as a pickup order and just sitting there getting cold for some time. After a bit, a man in the back called us up and said our order was ready. As I waited at the counter the lady packed it all up like a to-go order, which I don't mind much but it seemed to take a real long time. Then she put two orders on the counter with two drinks, that I didn't order drink and my buddy already had his. Food was great and the man came out to make sure everything was good and that we got the right order. I told him things were great and thanked him. I feel like maybe they were short a person and someone's wife came in, she just seemed a little overwhelmed. We weren't short with her and pretty sure she was confident everyone got their food. I'm going back during the week, I really liked the food and didn't realize they were at this location before. It was about $10 for a box full of food and I left...

I liked the fried chicken. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all. It had a darkened cheese layer on top that made it look like it had been cooked a long time ago, put into a styrofoam cup, and then microwaved. I am not picky but this tasted a bit awful. The service is not good. The person working the cashier was sitting in the dining area on their phone and I waited more than 5 minutes for them to serve me. That was strange. Food did not take long to prepare. When ordering a fountain drink (they have a fountain machine right next to the cashier), they ended up giving me a can of soda. I would like to know this before paying for a drink. So do not expect refills. The dining area was dirty. No customers were there, yet the tables I had to choose from and the tray I was served with had sauces and dirt on them. I want to like this place as it feels like it has potential. But they would need to fix these things for me to return and I don’t have a lot of confidence that they will. Delivering quality food, tending to customers promptly, and cleanliness are minimum expectations in this business and if they aren’t doing this now, they likely don’t value those things. I wish them well...

Their fried chicken and waffle sandwich, which alone is $15 (more for a small combo), is two under cooked Eggo waffles and 2 pieces of their chicken strips. This as a small combo with fried shrimp came out to $30 and it was worse than Popeyes. Their facility was VERY dirty and I waited and called for service for nearly 5 minutes before the woman working (sleeping in the back, like literally she was asleep) realized I was calling for assistance and she was the only one there. The girl who walked in as my order was just finishing up had a simple order and I overheard her say it would be 30 minute wait in a negative way, you could tell she was trying to persuade her not to order and it's still 2hrs before closing time, not like either of us walked in last minute expecting service. Overall, I'm a foodie and if the food was good I wouldn't have cared, but it was one of the crappiest meals I've ever eaten, no exaggeration or lie. I mean, I'll eat at B rated places and hole in the walls if their food is good, this is...
