Tarzana Recreation Center — Attraction in Los Angeles

Clean gym. I help coach basketball for 9-10 year olds during the spring. Staff is friendly and helpful. Courts outside are kinda old. There's a parking lot next to the gym, along with see parking on the streets on all sides. There are baseball fields as well. Nice green grass used for picnics and/or booths. We visited Tarzana Recreation Park on Saturday to watch a girls’ basketball game, and it was a fantastic experience. The park was clean, calm, and well-maintained, making for a pleasant outing. What a great park with plenty of space for all the kiddos of all age groups. 4 basketball courts sufficed although one was missing a hoop and another was being used for a piñata. The playground is large with plenty of sandy area and slides. I grew up in the area and never realized such a nice park was so close.
