Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Carl's Jr. has the WORST service, and this is the WORST Carl's Jr. The staff couldn't make an order right if their lives depended on it. The dining room looked like it hadn't been cleaned all week. There was a soda machine with no ice that served room-temperature drinks, and knowing this restaurant, it's probably been that way for months. (They once took THREE YEARS to fix their broken drive-thru ordering screen.) They bag hot sandwiches and cold salads together in the same take-out bag, they don't confirm orders properly, and they make mistakes on orders more often than not. After avoiding this place for about four years, I only went in again because another restaurant next door was closed. My current visit assured me that NOTHING has improved, in spite of my having spoken to every manager and district manager about the constant problems years ago. Today was no good. Saw staff member touch broom and dust pan to clean with. Then, she walks right over to the food prep station, does not change her gloves, and touches lettuce, cheese and burger buns with the same gloves on. She didn’t speak English. When I tried to ask her a question, she looks at me and keeps working. The manager walks around like everything is normal. Did not even tell her to change her gloves. I had to get a refund after that. That is not the way to run a food business. When I was working, managers and supervisors knit picked every thing I did when I was already doing my job very well. I go into these establishments, and they get to work however unsanitary they want to work. Some times they do not clean up anything. I thought these food businesses would do things better after that horrible covid pandemic. No one learned a thing did...

The employees are extremely SLOW & don't care how terrible the food is that they serve. I ordered sweet potato fries & got a 1/2 container of old, cold, burnt fries. There was 1 customer ahead of me & it took 18 minutes to get a cold hamburger & the terrible fries. There were no other customers in the entire restaurant. When I took them back, all the manager said was "I didn't give them to you", when in fact, he told the employee to give me what they had sitting around for hours instead of cooking fresh fries. When I called the customer service phone number they were SO SORRY & would have the area manager contact me to make things right. I still have not heard back from the area manager. This place is purely BAD BUSINESS. Avoid this place like the plague. I will be glad to see them close up & go out...
