Chicken was just okay. We had a spicy wing and thigh. It didn’t taste freshly fried, had no wholesome chicken flavor, and even though there was some spice in the crust, the end result was mostly forgettable.

Curry rice was good and nicely spiced with big chucks of flavorless chicken folded in.

Even though the peach cobbler was cold out of the refrigerator case, you can really taste the compelling spice mix (maybe nutmeg and cinnamon), and just the right amount of sweetness in the slices of orange cling peaches, probably from a can, but that didn’t matter because they were just delicious. The crust was interesting, because not only did you have a crispy brown sugar covered crust on the top, there is also a layer of crust on the bottom.

$5 for cobbler and about $9 for the chicken...

Where do I begin..The workers are very friendly and helpful. My fiance and I bought (2) 6 piece tenders honey butter sauce and regular, a 10 piece chicken with sweet and spicy/ soy garlic, onion rings, and Lord have mercy they even had fried chicken skins!! When I tell you the chicken was so crispy, flavorful, and crunchy Jesus I couldn't believe it. My fiance and I was running errands and we bought the chicken at 2 o clock. Here it is 7:21pm and the skin's is still crispy, crunchy, and delicious. This of course is our 1st time trying this place but I promise you we'll definitely be back. I've lived 2 blocks from this place and was hesitant to ever try it because I don't really ever see it busy or getting much business. But today decided to finally try it out. I am pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 2 piece regular chicken meal with macaroni salad for the side. The chicken was crunchy, crispy and well seasoned, tasting very good. I also ordered a side of 6 pieces of the sweet Cajon corn. Delicious! They had quite a variation of menu items to choose from. The service was great. They give you a buzzer for when your order is ready as the inside is not really big enough to hang in there to wait, if other customers should come.
