I complained to (2 male employees) because specifically they add wayyyyyyy too much ICE to their drinks! It's MOSTLY ICE! The drink is like 8 sips and then it's gone!
I asked for easy ice and they claimed they can't do that (the woman employee) which I never heard a place not be able to put less ice inside a drink. So you can enjoy the large size of drink and not mostly ice and a small drink!
The size of the cup doesn't matter obviously because they fill the tall cup with half ice. It's the same size as a medium/small cup of drink damn near.
The drink overall it's ok, it's just ok, the green tea, with the 70% sweeter that they add in is the only reason why the drink is good but not great! You can def make this at home. It's a rip off.
Even tho I see people coming in here buying, they rip you off with the amount of ice they put in the cup! They claim they have to put that much ice to make the drink cold but I'm sure they can add way less and it get cold.
Also they didn't wanna make another drink to make up for this complaint I had. They are cheap! Usually a business would do it over to ensure I'm satisfied as a customer (YELP ELITE EVENT).. especially... impress me. I'll write a 5 star review! But no, they don't care about a 1 star review.
The purpose of this review is to help these people improve their business! They have a flyer that says their reviews help improve the business but they don't wanna improve my experience today.
I came from Long Beach (1 hour to get here) to try them & review... and I told them I didn't wanna give them a 1 star but I have to. They said the woman employee wasn't wrong about the ice & had their staff back which is wrong because customers are right and come first.
I mean what should I expect from baristas at a Thai place? Min wage workers probably won't go above and beyond.
More over, You can't even get to the boba at the bottom because it's at the bottom where it's warm (at first), and you wanna taste the cold top first but before you get to the bottom it's nothing but ice left and then you can't eat the boba easy.
Whoa. I did tell them this in person. Usually an established business gets you another drink but this time they didn't.
Nice place to sit and get on ur laptop tho! This might as well been a small drink! Totally a 1 star...
Read moreWe order : Thai tea with boba ( 70% sweet ), green Thai tea ( 70% sweet ) and honey lemon plum red tea ( 70% sweet ).
The service is decent, we come at a busy Sunday afternoon, and for three drinks the wait is around 10-15 minutes. Inside the place is cute and spacious, there are a few tables and chairs. Some red lanterns decoration on the ceiling , they also have a clean bathroom.
Here's some review about the drinks:
Thai tea with boba: This is their signature drink. I order 70% sweet, the Thai tea has a stronger taste than other Thai tea I've tried in other places. The boba is sweet and chewy, I would recommend this drink.
Green Thai tea (70% sweet) : My friend says the green Thai tea is strong as well and has a floral taste. She likes it.
Honey lemon plum red tea ( 70% sweet). My friend says the drink is sour and she doesn't like it. But I like it, it has a sweet and sour taste, and the red tea is strong.
All drinks have small ice compared to other place that use big ice. If you don't like the drink be too sweet, would recommend 70% or 30% sweet, too bad they don't have half sweet option. When we got here, the AC is not on yet so it is kinda hot but after a while they turn on the AC so it is cool now. They have a parking lot in front of the place. Would...

Recently visited the newly opened @chatramue.usa in Los Angeles, CA, first location to be opened in the U.S
This is the most used brand for Thai tea in the majority of Thai restaurants around the world and this brand has been around for almost 80 years.
Excited when we visited, line wait times were very minimal and kept going at a nice pace. At the time of my visit they were also doing a soft opening of soft serve and had both the classic Thai tea flavor and a matcha flavor.
Tried these: ❤️ Jasmine Iced Tea ❤️ Yuzu Rose Tea ❤️ Classic Thai Tea ❤️ Brown Sugar Assam Red Tea ❤️ Classic Thai Tea soft serve
I enjoyed that we could adjust the sugar level for each of the drinks. Also nice they informed the rose tea has a natural laxative effect! Yay regularity FTW!
For those in the know, this is located in the same complex as LAX-C…lovingly known by many as the Thai Costco, where you can also pick up some Thai desserts, grilled meats, and other good eats outside and there is a food stall inside as well!
Parking can definitely be a challenge on weekends…but know the parking lot wraps...
