If you're in the LA area and love craft beer, then this is a must stop. In fact, if you're into craft beer you probably already have heard all about Highland Parking Brewery. Here's the thing: there's a reason you've heard of it. Often, once a place gets some acclaim, quality takes a dive. Not so here! The beer is as solid as it ever was. What's on tap rotates seasonally, but no matter the style you like there will be something on the board you'll love. Expect a ton of IPA choices of course, but you'll find two or three sours, stouts and lagers on their at any given time too. There are also cans to go and some light food options for snacking as well. (If you brought a friend who doesn't like beer, there's a few wines to choose from, but this is a beer place so don't expect much.) The space is nice. Big and airy but not uncomfortably so. Expect it to be packed on weekends (though you'll still probably find a seat), but it's remarkably sparse on most early weekday afternoons. You can talk with the bartenders and relax a little at those times, while the energy is more frantic on weekends). Let's also not forget to mention the outdoor seating. When it's sunny - which is most of the time - the patio is an ideal option. Parking is street parking, but it's plentiful and seldom a challenge. Oh, and prices are fair for quality craft beer. (Bonus tip: they make their own hotsauce you can buy there as well.) All in all, a dive into the Los Angeles - and Southern California - craft beer scene isn't complete without a visit to Highland Park Brewery.

A great stop to enjoy a bite to eat and great beer. Found this location when searching for breweries in the downtown area. Super glad I found this gem of a brewery a short walk from the bustling of downtown and even a shorter walk from Union station. The brewery is located in a less traffic area of L.A. which provides some what of a peaceful place to enjoy the dining experience with friends or family. Bar food is quite good and pairs well with whatever beverage you choose. Our party ordered the cheeseburger, hotdog, fries, and chips with queso. All the food came out at the same time and was presented nicely. Taste was what you expect of delicious and flavorful greasy bar food. I did notice that there are healthy options such as salads. The beer was great! Tried the IPA and the pilsners. Served cold! Foam is just right. The IPA citrus was satisfying on a warm day. I learned all beer is brewed here. During our visit I notice the fermentation tanks were being cleaned out by. It was a nice conversation point and we enjoyed the ambiance. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors but during peak hours there maybe standing room only. We arrived on a Saturday near 7p.m. and was lucky enough to find a party to share their table. Service was awesome. Staff like Andy were welcoming and suggested what beers to try. Can't say enough great things about this place. You can also buy to-go packs of your favorite beverage. Price is what you expect for L.A. Beers are priced comparably with any other brewery you may visit.

Night out with family and friends ended up here. highland park brewery has a nice setting, good comfort food, and great drinks, too. The place is clean, the staff is nice, the decor is hip. Starting off with the food, I got some longaniza tots that are no longer in the menu, and my brother got a burger with onion rings. Those tots were amazing, not exactly sure what else they had, but I would like to have some of those again, they served some hot salsa which was fire, but the other one was some sort of vinegary lime with a chili was killer idk what it was called but it was tangy and spicy at the same time and that little chili was super spicy when I ate it at the end OMG🔥. Onion rings were nice and crispy outside, yet sweet and tender on the inside went well with the dip. Drinks are called crazy names. I went with "the party". It's a West Coast IPA very hoppy yet refreshing. My sister went with a sangria, it's like slushie took a drink of it was well balanced in alcohol and not too sugary. All in all, it's a great place to hang out, grab a bite, and drink a brew. Good outside patio to enjoy the summer breeze when that comes around. Would recommend, would like to hang out again there.
