Daniel's Tacos - Sylmar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I went on a Thursday night. Only two people were working there. They looked busy and stressed. Nobody acknowledged when a customer walked in. I waited about 4 minutes before one of them looked my way and EVENTUALLY sauntered over to the register to take my order. She quickly and efficiently took my order and payment. She was curt but polite enough. Another gentleman seemed like he'd been waiting a while for his to go order and started razing them a little. I decided to go the other way and be patient. I got my food to go, as the place is nothing special inside and I'd rather go home and eat it. Food is ok sometimes. Hit and miss, but they do make the tortillas fresh on a little roller. I got chicken that was gristle though..not the best, but filled the hole. Also good prices and convenient parking and location...

About a week ago, I placed an order for pick up. I ordered for my family as well, their food was good, but mines was not. I ordered four tacos and a burrito, the meat of two of the tacos was extremely dry, and the quality was bad. Also, the rice and beans from my burrito were flavorless, poor quality, and it reminded me as if I went to Taco Bell to get rice and beans. Furthermore, when I asked the cashier for more salsa, she replied, " you already have salsa" I replied, "I need more please". Then she gave me more, but with an attitude. After leaving the kid center around the corner, my family and I wanted to eat somewhere local before we started our drive back home (we are from out of town). We stopped at a BBQ place in this shopping center first, but the service there was horrible so we left. I'm so glad we found Daniel's Tacos. My kids are picky eaters and they LOVED the food here! The service here was great and they even made sure to repeat our order back to us a few times since there was a little bit of a language barrier. The food was so good that we ordered some food to go to enjoy later at home! We will be back next time we are at...
