PHENOMENAL!!!! 🤤 I first came here after seeing all the reviews and I was not disappointed! I talked to the owner who was very approachable and kind 😊 He told me the Vada Pav is what made him start the business, so I decided to order it instead of my usual go-to butter chicken. Mind you, I’m not Indian and had never heard of Vada Pav before. He told me it was a Mumbai street food burger. I tried it and WOW!!!! 🤯 It was like a curried Indian spiced potato patty burger with two different chutneys (green and coconut garlic). Not sure how to describe it but it tasted like the most authentic Indian food that I’ve ever had. I felt like I was at an Indian street food market in India!!!! 😳🤯🤯🤯 The flavor from the spices was multidimensional and there was a nice contrast of textures! Soft bun, crispy potato patty, and crunchy coconut/garlic chutney! It was so unique to me and I loved it 😍 Even the green pepper on the side was immaculately spiced and I wolfed it down even though I usually avoid peppers 🙄 but it just tasted so good I had to eat it 😂 Everything tasted fresh and not like things were sitting around which is usually my biggest peeve when it comes to Indian food preparation! Also the owner was super nice and gave me a chai tea on the house and omg it was the best chai tea I’ve ever had 😂 the flavors were bold but not overpowering and I didn’t know chai could taste like that!!! He said people will pair chai tea with the Vada pav and I can definitely see that the chai adds another layer of flavor while the milk helps temper the kick from the burger 🔥

They say LA is missing good Indian food but I can say Desi Dish Dash changes my perception and makes me feel like I actually don’t have to settle anymore 🥹 Will be coming here for Indian food from now on and I can’t wait to try the other things on the menu! Note that it’s in the white building/commercial ghost kitchen which took me a bit to figure out. I saw their sign and went into the entrance on the left side and it was near the back. Totally worth the trip 🤤 Please support this fantastic small local gem of...

A Heartfelt Thank You to Preeti and the Dish Dash Team!

When planning our son’s wedding (with more than 25 family members staying with us for close to two months) one of the most critical challenges was ensuring that every meal for those two months was memorable and catered to the diverse dietary preferences of our guests. From vegetarians (with and without onion and garlic) to strict Jain preferences, and of course, non-vegetarians, Preeti and her Dish Dash team managed it all with unparalleled excellence, professionalism, and heart.

For two months, day in and day out, Preeti ensured every meal was delivered fresh, hot, and bursting with authentic flavors. Her “can do, will do, let’s do” attitude made all the difference. She took on every challenge with a smile, never compromising on quality or attention to detail. Each meal was a celebration of flavor, authenticity, and care, delighting foodies from across the globe—India, the UK, and various parts of the US.

The feedback from our guests was unanimous: “Absolutely delicious!” The freshness and authenticity of the dishes brought everyone together, creating moments of pure joy. Whether it was the intricate Jain preparations or the bold flavors of non-veg curries, Preeti’s expertise shone through. The balance of taste and dietary consideration was nothing short of extraordinary.

We truly couldn’t have done it without Preeti and her team. Their dedication, reliability, and passion transformed what could have been a logistical nightmare into an unforgettable culinary experience.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Preeti, for your exceptional service and for making our son’s wedding even more special. We will forever be grateful for your contribution to these cherished memories.

If anyone is looking for someone who delivers not just food but happiness and perfection, look no further than Preeti and Dish...

This is our second time ordering from Desi Dish Dash, which is a ghost kitchen that can get quite busy, especially on Friday night and the weekend. It’s in a white commercial building with limited parking. Best way to order is online, especially if busy. There’s no seating so it’s a to-go place.

I love Indian food and have been to many in the OC. I’ve been looking for in the Chatsworth area and came across Desi Dish Dash.

We ordered: Veg Samosas (2 pcs) $4.95 Crispy outside. Very good and a must try! Add a bit of the Tikka Masala sauce on it - so good!

Chicken Biryani $16.95 It was okay. On its own, it could have been more flavorful.

Chicken Tikka Masala $16.95 You can pick spice level. Medium spice was just right. I love the bold flavor. Rich, creamy, tomato based and a little thick. Chicken was tender. The sauce is savory, tangy with slightly sweet notes. One of my favorite items!

Tandoori Paneer $16.95 The aroma is amazing. Came with red bell peppers and onions. I didn’t get so much of the smoky or char flavor. It had a firm texture, similar to firm tofu, but not slightly crumbly. It could be due to the size of paneer, which is more of a rectangle shape rather than cube shaped.

Garlic Naan $3.50 Came with 2 pieces. They are soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy. Mild garlic flavor.

Overall, they serve a diverse authentic menu, with vegetarian options. Prices are similar to Indian sit down restaurants but may be a bit more expensive from a ghost kitchen. Most of the food I have tried from our 2 visits were delicious! Indian homestyle comfort food in the San Fernando Valley. It’s definitely...
