I think the staying power of this establishment is a sign of the great service provided by them at a really decent price. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and hospitable greeting their whole team gave me when I came inside. They could tell it was my first time there and they wanted to make a really good impression. Jorge was very attentive and professional. The food is simple and tasty and depending on what you get, healthy. It was also as fresh as could be, not as if it was sitting around forever. The location is super convenient too, since there is are plenty of places to stop by and check out here, like Nordstrom Rack. The salad was very good and I really liked their dressing and the crunchy tortilla strips they put in it, and I was glad that it wasn't soggy or greasy at all like some salads can be. There's such a wide-ranging, authentic list of things to choose from, everything from burritos to salads to tacos, and the portions are nice and filling. I reached out to them and they gave me some suggestions should I want to err on the healthier side to make the meal taste good and still be good for you. I plan on coming back with family and friends so they can experience this terrific restaurant. This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in this area, maybe in even the entire valley. There are not many places like this out there, where the customer service is off the charts and the team treats you practically like you were family. They also happen to have some newspapers to take a look at while you eat your food. Additionally, the authentic, home-made ambiance here is something that makes the experience better. Upon arriving and seeing their menu, I knew this place was not going to be authentic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think that was the only positive of this location. I was unsure what to order and asked for some advice. The staff recommended the BBQ steak burrito for myself and a ham melt sandwich for my partner. The price was a bit higher for "authentic" Mexican food. Once we received our food I realized how bad my partner and I had messed up. The location uses the store bought flour tortillas for their burritos, so they are extremely small. The meat was reheated and was flavorless. The only thing with some flavor was the BBQ in my burrito. It was jam packed with black beans that for some reason were scorching hot. I have had great food here and especially the salads and the veggie burrito. The staff has been friendly and attentive.

However, the reason for the 2 star review is that the last three times I have tried to eat there, I have shown up an hour before their posted close time to find the doors locked. There have been no posted signs regarding hour changes and the staff have just looked at me as I tried each door.

At this point I am no longer willing to attempt eating at this location (on Victory by the Westfield mall in Canoga Park CA) as I am not able to trust that they will actually...
