The food is good that's all I can say but the service is poor . I went in today Sunday Feb. 11th I ordered a sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and a honey walnut shrimp with fried rice . I asked the gentleman would my order be tax free as I was paying with ebt . I have had problems with this store in the past when I pay with ebt they tried to charge me tax. So now when I pay ebt I always make sure to ask for the receipt . This is my right as a paying customer. I asked the young man to see and he got an attitude, and started to huff and puff when I asked to see the receipt. I threw the receipt at him and told him I will be taking my services elsewhere. I'd I could rate the service a 0 I would . Asians are notorious for disrespecting African Americans when we are the number one consumer in the area . I will no longer support this establishment and , I urge others to stop until they learn to respect Americans. You guys make our money and send it back to your country to benefit your race for generational wealth . We have to stop giving foreigners money who don't...
Read moreIn the La world of diminishing hole-in-the wall Chinese spots and rising prices with only lateral food quality shifts, it may be time to take things into our own hands, by preparing stuff at home. This place to the rescue. The menu is chock full of jiaozi (pot stickers of various meat and veg), dumplings (similarly of various meat and veg), and wonton (shrimp/pork, chicken). Some of the items, like the #7 and #17 (chicken and pork dumplings w/napa cabbage) are even possible to pick up fresh, but should be prepared that day. I'm fortunate that I can even have a chance to practice my Mandarin. Now before you all go and line up around the block and blow this place up, let me let you know this place is not hip, not cool, and definitely not a place you want to be seen at. It's not romantic and it won't help your influencer status. Other than that disclaimer, I'm rooting for this place. We need more places like this, more street food, more traditional spots making food the way they've been making it for hundreds, or maybe thousands of years. Please don't...
