Dulan's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I have given up on Dulan's because of two unpleasant experiences in a row. Ordered four dinners on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Order 270868134. Two turkey wing dinners and two fried chicken dinners. This was a delivery order. When I received the order, the turkey wing dinners were placed in a bag together. Both dinners were packed sideways in the bag and all the contents were spilled in the bag from very sloppy packing. The supervisor on duty by the name of of Ashley was very rude. Told me I could get a refund for only one plate. I told her that was unacceptable since it was their negligence in packing the order properly that caused my food to be delivered in a big mess. I had a similar situation a few weeks earlier when I ordered 4 Sunday dinners and they were delivered without the drinks. The restaurant didn't want to take responsibility of their mistake at that time as well. I was told I could come in and pick-up the missing drinks if I wanted them. That was absolutely ridiculous because I paid for delivery and wasn't going to go across town to pick up something they forgot to include with the order. The owner of this location should be aware of what is going on at this establishment. The customer service skills of the so-called supervsior and manager at this location is absolutely horrendous. I will in no way continue to patronize this location or any other Dulan's location. At the time I am writing this review, I still haven't received a refund on the two damaged dinners that I received on 12/22. I suggest anyone think twice about ordering any food from this location, becauae you will be guaranteed to receive the same type of lousy service that I received. Take your money and patronize establishments that really value their customers, but Dulan's clearly does not...

Her recommendations were spot-on, guiding me through a menu filled with tempting options.

The fried chicken, a cornerstone of soul food, was perfectly seasoned and cooked to crispy, golden perfection. Paired with creamy mac and cheese and collard greens that had just the right amount of smoky depth, each bite was a testament to the care and expertise that goes into Dulan’s cuisine.

Sydny’s attentive service didn’t stop at taking orders. She checked in regularly, making sure everything was to our liking and sharing stories about the dishes’ origins and preparation methods. Born and raised true country girl from AR Went here on 12/3/2023...traveled from Venice to inglewood..we got a fish dinner. With dbl yams & dressing n gravy -smothered chicken dinner w/ dressing n gravy yams & mac n cheese..sweet potato pie per dinner and paid for an extra which I didn't get..and the pies were salty...the dressing was burnt and dry tasted like it had vinegar in it. The gravy was burnt..the yams were mashed & the green bean were sweetened with sugar..the Mac n cheese was bland looked like they used cheese substitute & over cooked on the top...i called and spoke to Susan shes been there 18 yrs..and she had the gaw to tell me she had no complaints.SOUNDED LIKE SHE WAS OFFENDED And I DIDNT CARE..i told her them ppl prolly don't have the nerve to call but I'm calling to let u know I'm not pleased..she also stated the recipes has not changed...i said yeah they have...i been coming here every Sunday for years and the food has neva been this terrible...not one time did she apologize but she did offer a free plate with an attitude..not one time did she ask my name....im very disappointed with Susan!!!!..Yall don't be scared to call & let them know it's not good otherwise they will think it's on point when it's not!! .WE PAY ALOT OF $$ FOR THESE DAMN PLATES....DADDY DULAN WOULD HAVE been upset on this day IF he had of tasted this mess!!... YOU RESPOND TO THE GOOD REVIEWS AND BAD SHOULD GET JUST AS MANY RESPONSES TOO...TIGHTEN UP DULANS...THIS WAS TERRIBLE...
