I took my friend here to grab brunch since its near his mom house. I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for brunch places in Sylmar. The food looked good so I wanted to try it. I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in on a Thursday. When we walked inside this place, they only had 1 other guest dining and we had to wait to be seated. Once we got seated and given the menu, I went up to the counter to look at their special menu. I think there was only 1 person working today because I didn't see anyone else. The lady working was very helpful and polite with us. I got their chicken burgers with seasoned fries, my friend got their philly cheese sandwich and my wife got their chicken sandwich along with their red juice. It didn't take long for our food to come out. I like my chicken burger but the fries were not the best. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and onions rings. My friend thought their philly cheese sandwich was delicious as well. My wife also loved the red juice since not a lot of places has that as an option. I was so excited to visit this place after I saw all the reviews and pictures, but to my disappointment my visit was not pleasant I ordered the "avocado toast" first of all the toast was not even toasted, and have more spinach than avocado, second the eggs I ordered over medium were RAW in the middle as you can see in the picture, i asked the waiter to replace only the eggs for ones that were properly cook but instead of trying to fix the problem she started telling me " thats how the eggs supposed to be if they over medium" so i said fine make the new ones over hard, her expression said everything, when she brought the other ones omg it was LIKE RUBBER, I let her know how the eggs were and again she just told me "well you wanted over hard, that's how they are. Let's get to the point ☝️ this place offers delicious 🤤 ( family own restaurant) food breakfast and lunch. The building itself is beautiful which really resemble California style. My favorite dish is the cali burger which is juice, creamy, meaty, crunchy and buttery. I totally recommend it . The ingredients they use are really fresh with lettuce, tomato, avocado, the juice meat, onions and their special sauce.
