Updated review 11/25/24:
My husband and I were in the area and decided to swing by here for early lunch and i was very happy to see Angela still works here! She's super friendly and an absolute pleasure! I just wanted to thank her for her help and kindness towards us!
(my previous review below)
I'm not one to write reviews, but I decided to recently just because I had a wonderful experience again at Everytable. I normally would visit their Canoga Park location. However, apparently, it closed sometime in January, so I went to this location (Sepulveda, Van Nuys) instead.
I had the pleasure of encountering Angela again, who used to work at the Canoga location, but I guess she got transferred to Sepulveda. Well, she is an absolute delight!! Very helpful and very patient, especially since my husband and I are old(er) & kinda slow š š I can see why they transferred her... very smart Everytable š Good Job.
There's also some new items that I had to try since Angela recommended them & yesss, they were quite delicious š
If you have the opportunity to go to an Everytable, then you MUST check it out! I promise you'll be glad you did. Especially try the the Roasted Chicken & Winter Rice Pilaf. Very delicious! There's also NEW Salmon wrap that my husband ate & he said it was delicious too! Don't just take my word for it but go try for yourself...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really like this place. I was super stoked to find it. Itās great for lunch, no wierd price trickery. Even got basically a free meal my first time.
But twice in a row Iāve ended up with a spicy meal. I canāt have spicy, I have an ulcer and it really hurts and ruins the rest of my day.
The food is good, the price is great, people are nice. But yesterday I had the Sasame chicken noodles and checked the box for any type of spicy indicator and didnāt see one, so I got it. I was surprised on my first bite bc It was SPICY, but not too too spicy. And I see now itās āChili Crispā on the box so maybe I should have put that together.
But today, I like STUDIED the boxes because I didnāt want to be caught off guard. I got the Backyard BBQ Chicken Plate - itās just barbecue chicken and macānācheese. The first biteā INSANELY spicy! Like I havenāt eaten anything that spicy in 10 years. I quickly asked the guy working for a cup of water and heās like, āyou can buy a bottle.ā š³ Like bro come on - Iām dying here. I think heās training so itās not a huge deal, but can we put some sort of indicator on the package if itās gonna be THIS spicy??? A small red sticker would be fine.
Other than that itās a cute place. I just feel tricked onto eating something very bad for me two...
Ā Ā Ā Read morefor the most part the food and in person customer service are great however I have been trying to find out if this location accepts EBT all dang weekend. this information used to be clearly posted on the website next to each location but for whatever reason now it does not. the stupid chatbot is not able to answer this question and just provides links to articles or the FAQ on the site if this fails to answer your question it instead just directs you to submit a support ticket which I did over the weekend but still no response. its looking like the answer is "No" but it shouldn't be an entire project just to find out. so instead of this info being easily accessible without assistance of an employee we get to go through this entire loop which is just a huge waste of time for such a simple inquiry. calling around to each individual location to ask is also a waste albeit less so than showing up to any given location in the hopes that they do especially if the answer is "No" geez everytable, please do better. this is not a hard problem...
