I frequent Starbucks throughout Los Angeles and I chose this Starbucks location because I was getting my tires changed at a tire shop minutes down the road and I wanted to get some work done while my car was getting serviced. The temperature was 90+ degrees outside, and to my surprise, once entering, was that the only seating available was directly in the sun with no shade. After deciding I had to complete some work here, I sat in the scorching sun and had to wait to reposition my table in the shade when space was available. My shoes and feet were hot from the sun, but I was able to use my laptop to make use of my time in the shade at an angle till my car was ready. It was an odd feeling and position, to be honest. To see a Starbucks location like this that lacks the normally consistenty in its layout and expectations, make me reconsider what coffee shop I will go to next time. I'd recommend some umbrellas outside and if it makes sense to have seating once again available on the inside of this location. I was told that recently this location had moved the seating to the outside only.
The heat was too much for two purchased smoothies to chill my body temperature out and experience. 😰
The staff was great in...
Read moreToday I place a mobile order and it said it will be ready at 12:13pm but I arrived and the lobby is close til 1:30pm. Then I wait on the long drive thru line but another customer gets off and she is help by someone who let her in and out. When I get to the drive thru Roxy comes to the window and I ask her to speak to a manager. She informs me there is no manager. I told her please advise the manager when on duty to close the mobile orders if there is a situation. I am a manager myself and understand there might be situation we go through but communication with the customers are important and I ask her for my order she rolls her eyes on me. Then I ask her for a cup of water no apologies were given and I said thank you and she didn’t even say you’re welcome. If I don’t see this get action I’ll raise hell to make it this gets addressed. If it was one of my employees a correction action or even fired. We operate because our customers. I was calm and professional so expected the same back. I could’ve been rude and made her day worst but I operate a business too. Plus my cheese...
Read moreI get my espresso drink the way I order it, precise, except for one thing, the Americano is served luke warm, I have to microwave my drink each time I order when I get to my office job each time I order from here. , I come as a walk-in vs a drive thru,. Why should the drink be warm? Not hot? I think the emphasis on Starbucks with drive thru has changed the experience to a McDonald's style drive thru experience instead of every drink is special. The concern is the production line mentality. On one occasion I ordered a coffee, black nothing but coffee, it took nearly ten minutes to get this Beverage.i don't understand how you run out of coffee in an urn when your business is coffee. The product is great , hence the 3 stars , the time to take the order to when they pour, clearly lacks lusters.im expressing my thoughts, but I'm hopeful this gets back to the right Quality control people. I think many of the Starbucks have the same issues. Conveyer drive though, vs walk in experience which is suffering in quality of the product delivery.
Hope you accept...
