Someone told me this was the best Greek food in the area, and I completely agree. Everything you get is going to be so delicious and fresh. Our absolute favorite thing on the menu is the House Specialty Lamb Kleftiko, wow!! It is so very tender and tasty, the sauce it's in is amazing. My mom doesn't really like lamb and she LOVES the Lamb Kleftiko, and the rice it comes with is so fluffy and flavorful. We had the Chicken and Gryo plate, with hummus and rice, their hummus is so good almost light in a way, the chicken kabob is juicy, and the gyro is some of the best I've had. Their pita bread is so soft and fresh, but crispy on the outside--it tastes like they make it fresh in-house and it comes out hot! The Falafel is pretty huge and so good, and so is the Dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaf) and it's giant!! So one is definitely enough, and it's really good. We also had the Greek Fries, and if you put some Greek Dressing on them, it's going to blow your mind. It's definitely worth getting, especially if you've never had Greek Fries before. Their Greek salads are also very good and fresh, and they come with like every meal. Definitely get an order of the Tzatziki Dip, and it also comes with Pita, and the Tzatziki is so thick and creamy, very very delicious, do not skip this one. My sister has also ordered the chicken pita sandwhich and it was so good. Everything here is wonderful, but make sure you try the Lamb Kleftiko and Tzatziki!! We love...
Read moreAfter years and years driven by this place, I decided to give it a try! Googled it, and I was happy they have lamb gyros!! My favorite kind!
It has a small parking area behind the place through the alley. About 6 to 7 cars could park there. On busy hours, I think it would be hard to find a parking spot.
It was Friday around 2:30 p.m. there were 3 tables of diners when I got there. So, it's a good sign!
Decided to order a take out order of the Gyro plate $22 and change. It came with rice pilaf & pita bread and Greek salad on the side. The plate was in a large portion with a generous amount of gyro meat!! Ordered a spanakopita $5.00. They gave me olive oil & herbs, hummus, and tatziki sauce as well.
Once I got in my car, I couldn't resist eating the spanakopita right away 🤣 although the crust was not as puffed up as I expected it to be, the filling tasted amazing!! The spinach was seasoned perfectly!
Got home and tried some of the rice, pita bread, and the gyro meat. I'm impressed with everything! The pita bread was warm and soft, rice was cooked to perfection and had nice fragrant aroma.. then the meat was seasoned very well! Not too dry and sliced thinly just the way I love it!
Besides the salad.. I'm not really a salad person. But they made and packed it well with a generous amount of feta cheese on it.
I gave the staff Graciella & the chef; Joel thumbs up 👍!! Good job!!
Recommended to gyro fans or Mediterranean...
Read moreStopped by for lunch with a friend at 11:30am and we ended up being the only ones there. I ordered the lamb kabob plate with fries and my friend ordered the beef kabob plate and asked for a larger salad instead of the fries or rice option. I also ordered a chicken kabob plate with rice for my wife to-go. We received our salads first followed by our kabob plates. The lamb plate had three little wooden skewers with a few small pieces of lamb on each skewer. My friends beef plate had the same three small wooden skewers. We had two ice teas with our meal. When the bill arrived, it was 85 dollars. For 23 or 24 dollars a plate, I expected at the very least, double the protein. We were both disappointed and my friend whom had been here numerous times in the past said that their portions shrunk and their prices went up. When I got home, I found out that they messed up my wife's order and gave her fries instead of the rice that I asked for and we were the only ones there. How do you screw up an order when your not even busy??? Neither one of us will be going back. If your going to charge 23 bucks a plate, give the customer some meat...
