Flowin Café in West Hollywood is a hidden gem that masterfully combines an ambiance of unbridled creativity with a sanctuary for social connection and personal indulgence. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by an inviting atmosphere that serves as both a haven for the artistic soul and a convivial space for networking, socializing, or simply enjoying a moment of tranquil bliss. Whether you seek a hub of inspiration or a quiet corner to retreat, Flowin Café effortlessly accommodates every mood.
The drink menu is nothing short of sublime, offering a sensory experience that delights even the most discerning palate. Their Muscat grape and lemonade infusion bursts with freshness, a balance of delicate sweetness and vibrant zest. Equally captivating is the Matcha tea latte, where earthy elegance meets velvety richness, each sip accompanied by whimsical quotes that elevate the experience to something poetic.
Of course, the food offerings are just as remarkable. The mushroom croque monsieur is a triumph of flavors and textures, with perfectly sautéed mushrooms nestled between layers of fresh bread, oozing with melted Gruyère cheese, and adorned with peppery arugula. The roasted cherry tomatoes, drizzled in olive oil, add a burst of juiciness that ties the dish together—a perfect bite for a leisurely afternoon indulgence.
And then, there’s the croissant—a decadent affair filled with luscious Bavarian cream, ribbons of Nutella, and slices of ripe bananas. The interplay of buttery pastry and creamy sweetness is sheer perfection, a treat that lingers in your memory long after the last bite.
Special mention must be made of the warm, hospitable staff. The owner, Bert, exudes positivity and genuine warmth, greeting each guest with a smile that reflects his passion for this new venture. His enthusiasm infuses the café with a vibrant energy that makes you feel immediately at home. This, truly, is the epitome of hospitality—an experience that not only nourishes the body but also the soul.

Read moreWhat a great new cafe spot on Melrose! The atmosphere, vibes, and menu are all immaculate here!
I was looking for a nearby spot to kill some time and get a bit of work done before going to an OrangeTheory workout, and decided to pop into this Flowin Cafe. I hadn't heard of it before, and it appears to be relatively new!
Straight from walking in, I loved the vibes inside. It's very cute, bright, and airy, while also feeling more unique and creative than other LA cafes.
The menu here as well is very unique and has options for free additions that are supposed to either help you with 'focus' or with 'energy'. Can't hurt to try and love that it's a free add-on if you so choose!
Service was friendly and swift - they had my drink out to me in no time and brought it over. The drink itself was a blueberry matcha, which was subtly sweet and tasted great!
Very pleased with this chill, cute spot on Melrose, and I'll definitely be returning! I highly recommend...

The coffee is excellent, of course, and the new expanded drink menu and house signatures like the Melrose Matcha (yuzu, oat milk, matcha, and cold foam) are delicious—pricey, but very worth it.
The new food selection is equally great. Ashley just made me the best mushroom-and-tomato croque monsieur of my life. Wouldn’t you know it, the couple right next to me commented that their breakfast burritos were the best they’ve ever had too.
Ashley, Burt, and their crew maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the shop, with a pleasant (and thankfully non-distracting) musical ambience. It’s a place equally perfect for meeting up with friends or catching up with work away the office. I would come here even if the food and drinks weren’t...
