I have known about Mongolian BBQ & Grill ever since I was a student at Los Angeles Valley College, which is right across from this restaurant. I eat here from time to time. Here is my breakdown of this place: Location & Parking: Located across Los Angeles Valley College, Mongolian BBQ & Grill is a small and very discreet “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant meaning you sometimes may be the only customer there. It is located in a plaza and parking is always available. Service Experience: Once inside, the owner greets you creating a welcoming atmosphere. He’s attentive and helpful, particularly in refilling requested meats promptly. The restaurant follows a “Do It Yourself” concept where customers assemble their 2 bowls with a selection of meats, vegetables, noodles, and sauces. The staff are friendly and willing to offer guidance if needed for those who are new to the place. Note that additional charges apply for overfilled or extra bowls. There is also a nearby hand sanitizer to sanitize your hands before and after handling tongs. Menu and Food Selection: The restaurant’s format allows customers to choose their preferred ingredients, providing clear instructions displayed above the selection bar. The noodles, vegetables, sauces, and egg fried rice are delicious, although the meat quality sometimes is not the best, occasionally proving difficult to chew. I have attached pictures of the food and menu. Budget-Friendly Experience: Despite the occasional issue with the meat texture, the overall value for the price is acceptable, especially considering the reasonable pricing. This restaurant provides a cost-effective alternative to mall-based Mongolian BBQ places, offering late hours compared to those typically found within malls which close pretty early. Overall Recommendation: For a budget-friendly Mongolian BBQ experience, Mongolian BBQ & Grill is a great choice. While the meat quality might vary, the noodles & vegetables, affordability, and late operating hours make it a worthwhile option for those seeking Mongolian BBQ outside mall settings. I love supporting small business and this is one of them. I am very surprised this restaurant is still operating after so many within this plaza have come and gone.

This place is fantastic. You walk in and are immediately greeted and informed how things work. The man inside is very nice and loves talking to everyone that comes in. The food is so good. I got beef and noodles and veggies. Then topped it off with the flavor sauces and garlic. They have a lot of options so you can make it your own. They cook it all right in front of you. I even grabbed a mochi ice cream. Over all I highly recommend this place, a diamond in the rough.

Went there at 2:10 pm, and the store said it’s opened. When I entered. Literally no staffs in the ghost store. Have been waiting for 20 mins and signaled people real hard. No respond. You could have just put a sign saying that staffs or owner are/is away. Then, I would have just left rather than just wait for nothing. It’s kinda bad for a hungry customer that is being ignored during business hour. Literally entered a ghost store without no one.

I loved this place, came here all the time would recommend it to anyone who liked stir fry back then. Since about two months ago they have a new guy working there and the food hasn’t really been the same. I think the new cook might just need a little more training from someone from before. Came back and decided not to eat there since it was the same cook. Seeing the review about the food looking like scraps reminded me to leave a review. The first time I came back since the new cook he didn’t use the stir fry liquid once, just cooked everything with water and kind of left the food watery, and bland, would be the best way to explain it. Great food originally just think with either a little more training or hopefully a little more experience this place can go back to how good it was before. Don’t want to put the guy down because it’s not his fault if he wasn’t taught how it was done before. For me at least consistency is important. Until then the price isn’t justifying the...

Very quick, very cheap, high quality and delicious. You really can't beat that.

I live right by this place and it's one of my favorite places to eat. You build your own noodle dish with your choice of vegetables, spices and meats, including chicken, beef, pork and/or lamb(you're not limited to one meat. You can get all four in one dish). There's also tofu and shrimp, but the shrimp costs extra.

All of the food is fresh; the veggies and meat are initially raw until you come in and build your own bowl. Then they start cooking it for you. So it is not a bunch of already cooked food that's just waiting for customers to come in and pay for it. Yet it still manages to be quick, because the meat is thin, so it cooks fast. Your food is done in a matter of minutes.

I tried the burger too, and it's very well made, one of the best I've had in the area. This place, overall,...
