Really liked this place. Whoever is in charge of the food cares and takes it seriously. Everything was really fresh. Tortilla chips for the nachos were fried to order so they were hot and crispy. Pico de Gallo was not sitting in a container all day, it was fresh and crunchy. French fries were made from fresh potatoes. Similar to In N Out, but better. They have $9 happy hour food, reduced portions vs the regular menu but a fantastic deal. Macho Nachos are $18 on the regular menu, +$5 to add streak. Happy hour menu is $9, +$1 to add streak. So $10 at happy hour vs $23 regular menu. 2 of us shared 3 apps and left stuffed. Or server was great. Super friendly and attentive, took good care of us. Busser was all over it and also really friendly. We were there watching game 6 of the NBA finals, plenty of TVs. Dodgers were on as well. There we families there with kids, office party after work, good bar scene, couples. We'll be back.

Came across this restaurant when seaching "places to eat near me". We are not familiar with the area. Came down for a football game. The waitress was pleasant. TV's are all around playing games or MMA. Although music was playing, it was still quiet. Burger was huge, I needed a knife to cut in half. Their guacamole is the best I've had without onions. The Chic-carones (Chicken) were good. Nice place. No issue with parking when we went.

Negatives: Parking is limited. Food was flavorless. They need some seasoning or some salt and pepper at the tables at least! Positives: Drinks (mango margaritas) and service were great!!! Happy hour ALL night Mon - Wed! šŸ˜‰

This Saturday turned into a very interesting experience. I have been to Fuego bar and grill many times brought my friends and family and have always had a positive experience. I show up and enter to a completely empty restaurant which doesn’t bother me because I know that iv always had a good experience here. I wanted to watch the boxing match and the UFC match. The ufc match was already playing and they said they were not playing the boxing match which is PPV which is 100% ok. The Manager/Owner(im assuming) is kind enough to put the fight on right in front of where I sat down. Carla comes up and is very nice and takes my order which was a Diet Coke that ended up being very watered down so I swapped it for a beer and some nachos. While I’m waiting for my food I ask is it possible to turn the audio from the UFC fights through the speakers because very loud music was playing at the time and I was the only person there. Carla hunts down the Manager/Owner and the answer is they only put the fight audio on during PPvs I said ok no problem. Carla brings me my food and I ask if it’s possible to turn the music down a bit because it’s very loud and again I’m the only one there. She said let me go find out. This is where the trouble starts. The Manager/owner comes up to me and says ā€œyou are making to many requestsā€ but I will turn down the music a bit . Which was shocking response in my opinion. First of all my first request wasn’t accommodated and that’s ok and if he just came back and said to me sorry we can’t turn down the music would have also been find. I can’t illustrate past words the energy and confrontational attitude displayed but the least I can is it was borderline rude and not accommodating and confrontational. I made two requests and one was denied while the other might have been accommodated but not before I received a scolding. I told the owner/manager this is not good customer service and this is not how you talk to customers.he defended himself saying that he put the fights on for me which were already on and all he did was put it in front of me. How is this a valid point when this is somewhat of a sports bar what favor was I done by putting on the fights for me. I repeat the restaurant was empty and I wouldn’t have even asked for the music to be turned down a bit if there was another soul in this place. The correct and simple answer is no sorry we can’t turn down the music which would have been no issue for me. I received a scolding and when I voiced my displeasure and told him that he’s being borderline confrontational and rude and all he did was laugh in my face. It is hard to put in words the energy around the interaction he said close your bill and I’m refusing you service. I refused to close my bill as I had taken one small bit of a nacho and drank no beer he said that’s fine and I left. I have been here a dozen times and brought just as many people. I am sad that this is the treatment I received and don’t see myself returning and I will suggest for anyone I know not to return.

This establishment and staff needs to remember they are doing absolutely zero favors to customers who are showing up to spend their hard earned money on and in their business. They should be gracious and happy that they can accommodate because that is what customer service is all about.

I’m not sure if the owner/manager was having a bad day which is understandable we are all human but I am at least due an apology for the terrible customer service...

Loved this place! The atmosphere is loud, fun and friendly. Very clean and modernized place, TVs everywhere, including the patio. The food is very tasty and well seasoned. Macho nachos are amazing! They have white cheese melted with black roasted corn, pico de Gallo, jalapeno and I added grilled chicken, with shredded Mexican cheese over it. The corn bites are mouth watering! The chick-charrones are tasty if you enjoy chicharrones but need a "healthier" option. Tumbleweed Cobb salad was full of flavors and very healthy, full avocado šŸ„‘ added. I substituted blue cheese dressing for Mexican Caesar dressing. Delish! The protein bowl has a generous amount of food for a bowl. Add jalapenos for a nice kick. Alicia was our waitress and was amazing in her attention to our table and others; excellent service! JP was the manager and he introduced us to other menu items to try next time. Try the mangoneada shot for sure! 🄃 The mojito was tasty, a little on the sweeter end vs refreshing mint, and the margaritas were delicious with premium alcohol. This place is a must to visit...

Hands down-THE BEST- service in town. I live off the blvd in WH and there are bar/grills one after another all down Ventura but I will gladly hop on the freeway to Tarzana for good people and GREAT SERVICE. I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners, managers, servers, it's like walking into a time machine where you actually get SERVED. I went the 1st time on a really busy fight night and what stood out for me was that EVERYONE works EVERYONE checks on you. You can feel the attitude of servers at other places who don't want to help each other or even answer a question when your's goes missing in action. Not here. The drinks and food are flowing constantly. So fun to watch a game! You're treated like family and that's how I want to feel if I go out. I don't know how waiter spells his name but he helped me two times now and he is F'ing awesome. THANK YOU! Someone is doing it right. The only negative is that-- I WANT...
