Yum! Jefferson Park Breakky! I work nearby and was pretty early for work so I decided to look up a new breakfast place because I was tired of going to highly likely and the other TexMex spot on Jefferson. I called because as a person who works in food I know they get charged when you use a third-party service when they answer the phone I can tell they were a bit crowded and they said it was going to be a 30-40 minute wait but I had time and I needed to get gas so it was perfect.

I wish I had of taken a picture before I went in on the food but it was way more food than I expected I got the turkey bacon breakfast sandwich and it came with a bunch of crinkly fries that were crispy how I like it and also had a lot of avocado on it which I appreciate the bread was buttery and toasted to perfection shout out to the cooks !!!

There is a decent amount of spots in the back you do have to be able to drive well LOL but there’s also a bunch of street parking too. It took me a little less than 10 minutes to pick up my order because it was a little bit of a line for people to pay and pick up and there was only two or three people taking the orders delivering the food waiting tables and everything.

Again everybody there is not a workers shortage it’s just a lot of places fired their employees during quarantine now employees do not want to work for the same wages so they are staying on their unemployment and I do not blame them LOL so until places get their act together the prepared to wait plan ahead order ahead...

I was literally dying for some pancakes and the cafe by my house was closed. I decided to check this place out and I'm so glad I did. Very unassuming from the outside with a small parking area in the back. Inside was one of the most efficiently run cafes I've seen. The small dining area was full and I was waiting to be seated when the waiter/host/busboy/cashier came out from the back with coffee or something for one of the tables. He was very polite and gave me a table in the slightly larger, adjacent dining area. I eyeballed the plates of those already seated and everything looked great. I decided on the house special; 2 sausage patties, 1 egg, hash browns and 2 pancakes for $8.99. Everything was perfect. The people at the table across from me placed their order with substitutions on top of substitutions. This waiter though, took the order and was respectful and attentive. He cleared and cleaned the tables of those who had finished and left, he filled additional requests from customers, he did everything.....well, I don't think he cooked, although I wouldn't be surprised. I'm generally a big tipper when there is justification for it. Even still, I wish I could've given more. Everything was great. The food was excellent, I got my pancake fix, the service was outstanding, there was nothing I didn't like about this place. Oh, well, I don't like that they close so early. I'll have to go back another day and try...

Came here on a referral from a friend who said she likes their food because it's not authentic lol she brought me here. We found a parking spot thank goodness! Went in and asked for dine in seating. We were seated and after that it went down hill! Took our drink order and it had been 20 mins. Another family walked in and one of the owners/waiters seemed to know them so they got their drinks asap and we were still waiting for ours 30 mins later. I asked my friend to check on our drinks. She went and asked and they brought us our drinks and took our order. The employee that knew the family who came after us seemed to be talking to this family forever and they got their food and we were still waiting for our food 45 mins later. It was ridiculous! We were basically ignored! Got the food and I said, "I'm going to eat and critique this food without thinking about the horrible service". I got the El Super Clasico. Platanos were not riped enough, casamiento was fried rice and I didn't see any beans in it, crema seemed to be salted by them, so it was watery and salty! hard cheese was so hard and stale that I didn't eat it after the first bite. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. The food is really not great I don't know who these reviewers are with high ratings and complimenting the food, but they obviously do not know good Salvy food. Service really sucks and the subpar food made my first and last...

An American-Salvadorian breakfast spot that is more savory than its name suggests. They have a classic sweet options such as pancakes, waffles, and French Toast, but the heartiness of their Salvadorian style breakfast at a really affordable price is where it is at. It has a diner quality feel and the food has that "made at home" comfort to it too. They only have street parking and a few tables indoors with no outdoor seating. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but good service and good food! The Classico is a solid breakfast with scrambled eggs, rice, plantains that were filling. The Mojarra Azada (Whole Fried Fish) was prob my favorite. Very filling and cooked well! Came with some thick tortillas and rice that were really filling along with a blended up bean dip. The Horchata is really good here too! Def recommend!
