Hong Kong Express — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Nope nope nope!! Food bland and apparently has been sitting out for quite some time. I ordered teriyaki chicken and fried rice, got no teriyaki sauce and my fried rice had many, many, many crunchy bits. I literally only took two bites and couldn't eat anymore. They don't care and it's obvious, I've never had this bad of a food experience especially with this food type. Definitely would avoid, they haven't improved since last years...

The place literally closes at 9pm and when I got there at 8:15pm, they had like 3 items to choose from and obviously those items had been sitting there all day and are the ones NO ONE WANTS TO EAT, so I didn't even get anything because when I asked them to make something I actually wanted, they acted as if that was the most bizarre and insane request anyone could ever ask for! Smh at this...

I went to a birthday party recently where they had catering from HK Express and another American grill spot. The Chinese food was by far the crowd favorite! There was a line for it, and luckily, they had plenty to go around—everyone ended up taking home a to-go box. The prices were super fair too.
