This place is top of the line authentic Szechwan Chinese food. I ordered 4 appetizers: spicy cucumber, fried chicken, the pork wontons & egg rolls. All delicious but you must try the wontons, they are soft dumplings, not fried and come in a sauce that you will want to drink. I ordered 3 entrees: Szechwan beef, chicken chop suey & honey walnut shrimp. Again all delicious but the honey walnut shrimp is a total knock out, would never get sick of eating this dish. It is rich in flavor and not overly sauce-y I ordered 3 sides: shrimp fried rice, garlic green beens & white rice. Shrimp fried rice is soooo good but there’s nothing that can compare to the flavor loaded garlics green beans. They’re juicy and addictively delicious. They are a MUST order item! The thing is it’s not just the food, the service is family owned and it really shows. It’s a very friendly and happy, neighborhood environment to enjoy a meal.

I'm not sure how they have such great reviews, but our experience was quite different. I pre-ordered for delivery to the office. I was called and told that they accidentally input the incorrect time, but they would make sure I got the order by the time I requested. So, when 30 minutes after the requested time came and went, my co-worker called to check on the order. She was told that it had been delivered. The guy on the phone started arguing with her and finally said that it was left in another suite number. He was asked why it was left in a completely different office, and his response was, "my bad." Really?? No apology, nothing. So our food sat in another office for about 30 minutes. Needless to say, it was completely cold. I ordered some of the food with no MSG, but nothing was labeled, so who knows who got MSG and who didn't. It makes one of my co-worker's sick, so I guess we'll find out soon enough. The combos we ordered came with salad and egg rolls. The salad was all wilted and warm from sitting with the hot food and there were no egg rolls. We ordered fried dumplings, but we didn't get anything resembling a dumpling. It appears we got some sort of fried wontons? If those are dumplings then maybe they should be renamed. When I choose fried dumplings instead of steamed, the dumplings still look the same. The best way to describe what we received is to say they looked like big tortellini... they did not like the dumplings I get everywhere else. The food was mediocre at best. The spicy food was not at all spicy. I was worried that ordering spicy would be too much, but it appears I should've ordered extra spicy just to get some added flavor. So, this was the first and last time we will order here. We typically from Tree House Thai, and it's amazing, but we thought we'd...

COVID restrictions review-Dec 2020 I completed an evening walk-in order but my understanding is that they deliver and engage in contactless pick-up as well.

Parking: EXTREMELY limited. There's metered parking along the block but only on one side of the street. You'll need to park at least a block away (around the corner) and walk. Otherwise you'll be hard pressed trying to parallel park in the residential area and chance a hell bent ticket issuing parking enforcement crew. It's WLA, there's no mercy.

Prices: A bit expensive for my budget. I'm not sure if the prices have always been high (considering average takeout) but I was a bit overwhelmed by the bill. I ordered a single serve soup and a full entree (veggies only) and it came up to $25 bucks. Granted, I'm used to Panda Express prices being ridiculous for the trash they feed you but when it comes to portion and price, many people would consider this place expensive.

Food: I enjoyed the food and it was comforting. I ordered the Hot & Sour soup and the vegetable chop suey. I meant to order the single serve but didn't specify that while ordering so they prepared a full order and it came with rice. I did not eat the rice. The vegetables were tender but not soggy (perfect) and the soup had a warming spicy feel rather than the burning mouth and esophagus feel (great balance). The dish tasted freshly prepared and I appreciate that. Overall, the food I...
