Subject: Complaint About Poor Service at – 805 W Manchester Ave Los Angeles, CA 90044 United States August 23, 2025 Date & Time of Incident: August 23, 2025, at approximately 12:30 PM Location: 805 W Manchester Ave Los Angeles, CA 90044 United States To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report extremely poor service I received today while picking up an online order. I arrived roughly 4 minutes after the app said my order was ready. From the moment I arrived, no one greeted me or gave clear instructions on how to retrieve my order. I attempted to get assistance from an employee named Yadira, who was on the phone at the time, but she ignored me. When I asked her how to pick up my order, I was repeatedly bounced between Yadira, another employee, and the drive-thru staff. During this time, I was asked multiple times for my name and to show my mobile order, which felt unnecessary and delayed my food unnecessarily. The employees accused me of being rude, even though I was simply asking for my food. And refuse to hand me my order until I listen to how Yadira just got there and how I need to understand they are busy . I eventually received my order, but it was incomplete, and I was forced to wait further while they insisted I close the small window due to “anti-theft” procedures. This experience was frustrating, disrespectful, and entirely avoidable. The lack of organization, communication, and professionalism made a simple mobile pickup unnecessarily difficult and stressful, especially in 100-degree heat. I request that a supervisor not the management to address this issue to ensure that no other customer has to experience such poor service as management was part of it . I would also like to know what actions will be taken regarding the behavior of the staff involved, including Yadira. Because after she left mumbling stuff about me with the employees , how do employees understand that they are employees it’s not your home I’m buying food from. It’s Jack-in-the-Box. You are Jack-in-the-Box. You present Jack-in-the-Box something strong in your mind you can serve such a manner Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Brent

I’m not sure what you wanna do but don’t make my breakfast uncomfortable and make me wanna Jack-in-the-Box. NOT COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AND DO NOT JUST THROW THE FOID BAG IN THE WINDOW WITH SUCH DISlike. Made a quick stop for a meal before the concert at Kia Forum. Parking was very good. When entering got a bit weirded out, as there are bullet proof glass from the employees to the customers. They were a bit slow to take our order. We waited about 5 minutes until an employee took our order. They seemed short staffed but were kind. Our food didn’t take too long, I felt like that was quicker than placing an order. LOL. My sourdough jack sandwich was perfectly made. I inhaled it so quickly! And they had diet Dr Pepper!!

Made a quick stop for a meal before the concert at Kia Forum. Parking was very good. When entering got a bit weirded out, as there are bullet proof glass from the employees to the customers. They were a bit slow to take our order. We waited about 5 minutes until an employee took our order. They seemed short staffed but were kind. Our food didn’t take too long, I felt like that was quicker than placing an order. LOL. My sourdough jack sandwich was perfectly made. I inhaled it so quickly! And they had diet Dr Pepper!!

This was the worst experience at a restaurant that I've ever had. We are from out of town and we were heading back to my family's house from Santa Monica when we stopped here to grab some fries and a soda and I also had to use the restroom. While I was ordering I realized that I had forgotten my debit card in my card, so I told the guy behind the counter which is a bulletproof window with little holes in it that they speak to you through and you also get served your food through a bulletproof door that is built into the window.... but I digress....that I was so sorry but that I would be right back because I left my card in my car.. I realized I couldn't hold it anymore though, so I said "excuse me sir, could you unlock the restroom please? I wont make it to the car and back before I get my card." He flat out said "no... pay first" I was in SHOCK.

I get that they only allow paying customers to use the restroom, and I get it because I saw all of the homeless loitering and such so I get it, but I was clearly not homeless, had ordered, and just simply had 2 unfortunate things happening at the same time.... forgetting my debit card and having terrible bladder control.

So I went out to my car and got my card, came back inside and was at this point doing "the dance" while waiting patiently at the bulletproof counter for the cashier to come back to the window to accept my payment, which by the way was SO HUMILIATING. He made me wait until he was done putting together an order and then he had a stinky attitude when he came and took my payment. I said "can you open the bathroom now please" quite irritated at this point. He rolled his eyes and pressed the button from behind his bulletproof wall and I heard it buzzing through the whole restaurant, so I hurried over to the restroom.

I tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge, and then I realized that one of the loiters that had been listening to our entire conversation was missing. He had ran over to the bathroom BEFORE I COULD GET THERE and locked himself in there. I did "the dance" outside the restroom waiting for about 5 minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and just went outside and the rest is too embarrassing to retell. WORST EXPEIRNCE EVER.

So, moral of the story is..... if you want to eat here and also have to use the restroom, expect to pay for your food first, and have the cashier guy behind the bulletproof plastic wall thing push the button ONLY ONCE YOU ARE AT THE BATHROOM DOOR because the cashier guy behind the bulletproof thing doesn't care about you or your feelings and the loiters are waiting to dash in before you get around the corner. I'd personally just go...

Were do I start, beginning with the parking at times you can't find a spot because there are motorhomes parked there as if it's a lot for them only. I usually go to the drive thru but yesterday we decided to go inside to have breakfast, that was DEFINITELY the wrong thing to do, as we went in there were about 5 people just standing at the front and also at the tables there was a faint smell of urine which I thought was a homeless man that was waiting apparently to get his food. Once he left the smell was still there so we moved to the other side of the restaurant WRONG thing to do again the smell was there but worst, unfortunately we had already ordered our food so we waited for it, eventho it took for ever to get it, so long that when we got the food it was cold. And they didn't have our coffee ready we had to wait again for that to be served and it seemed that they hadn't made fresh coffee since the night before. It was just a horrible experience. And not to mention I don't think the issue was that the staff was short because there were 3 guys in the front the cashier & what seemed to me the 2 other guys were there to give out the orders, even the manager was there but they all were bumping into eachother, the dress code for all employees and more importantly the managers should be that their clothes fit, not that when they turn around you can see their bare butt....... Having said that we ended up giving the food away as with that smell still in our nose we couldn't...
