I never leave reviews but Iām leaving this review truly in hopes that something changesšš¼ The acai bowls here are AMAZING! Some of my favorite bowls of all time. However, Iāve noticed the service has gone down within the past few months.
I always call ahead to place my order because I a) am driving & donāt want to be on my phone to place an online order and b) canāt add protein powder on online orders. And now that they close an hour earlier than normal, Iām getting there like 5 minutes before closing, so it would genuinely be mutually beneficial to have a phone order placed so I donāt have to be that annoying customer ordering 5 min before closing.
Now, they are no longer answering their phone. Which is a bit annoying ESPECIALLY now that they close an hour earlier, so Iāve been rushing and arriving only a few min before closing, calling ahead multiple times (25-30 min before closing) trying to place an order but no answer. One time, when I walked in at 6:27, they tried telling me that they werenāt selling smoothies or bowls (basically their whole menu) because theyāre āclosing.ā I nicely explained that I tried ordering ahead of time but there was no answer, and they agreed to make my bowl but were obviously very annoyed with me, even though I did everything I could to not order 3 min before closing :(
After this happening many times, I politely asked why they donāt answer the phone anymore (in case it was managementās decision) and they said āWe do, itās just busy sometimes.ā This next part is genuinely so embarrassing of ME LOL but⦠I put that to the test and called when I was in the store, waiting for my bowl, and no one was in lineā¦. guess what⦠They didnāt pick up the phoneš
Second thing, they lock the back door early nowš¢ Like 10 minutes before closing. I KNOW theyāre not supposed to do that because Iāve literally knocked on the door and they open it and say sorry. Like what? What is going on peopleš¤£š
Anyways I really hope management just says like āhey guys, letās make sure we really try to answer to the phone and letās not lock the back door until weāre closed.ā Then I will finally enjoy my experience at this place again. As of right now, it causes me more stress...

I aways get the Pacific love because I'm normally needing to replace a meal. It's always good. The staff are friendly and did I mention that I feel good? Well, I do. And I'm sure drinking freshly pressed juice and smoothies has something to do with it. I also just became a dad, so that could also be a reason I feel so great!... But also tired, I guess I should get another smoothie to boost my energy. There's a lot of late nights when your a new dad. I haven't slept a. Solid 5 hours in about 2 weeks but I telling you having a kid is the best thing you'll ever make... Unless your a smoothie maker at Juice crafters, then that would be the Pacific love because that smoothie is amazing! I can't wait to share this place with my son once he's old enough to eat things other then breast milk.... Wait. Maybe juice crafters should incorporate some breast milk into some of their smoothies so babies can have some? Probably not. Just an idea. Love...

I ordered online through their website for contactless pickup due to COVID guidelines. I was told my order would be ready by 3:10 pm. I arrived and my order was not ready. I didn't mind much, so I waited. However, then my order was made incorrectly. I asked for no coconut in my açaà bowl, because it is an allergy. My bowl contained coconut. I showed them my confirmation email that it said "no coconut" on it. I asked for them to remake it. They hesitated and looked at each other and said "we are kind of busy"...Unreal. I explained again that it was made incorrectly and let them know that it is an allergy. They remade it, and it's honestly the worst açaà bowl I have had here. The açaà was so frozen I had to let it sit and thaw in the car before I could eat it. This place is not cheap, so I expect top service and product.
