We have a KFC closer to our house but we choose to drive out to this location because it is one of the few KFC that still has the hot wings which my husband loves. The service is good there always nice and friendly. The dining room isn't to big but big enough I think. I took 3 stars off because I was in there a few weeks back and was standing there for about 10 minutes and no one took my order it took almost 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I was standing there and tell me someone would be right with me. There was the cashier who was taking car of some mix up with a customer the guy in the drive through and the cook. Now the guy in the drive through was standing there waiting for food which I think he could have take my order. Which by the way I was not the only other customer there. But the guy in the drive through didn't he instead just stood there listening to the argument. When the argument was set and done you would think the cashier would get back to taking orders. We'll she didn't instead she went to the kitchen with the cook and both her and the cook got the order ready for the guy in the drive through. Okay so you think now there is no more cars so now I get my order taken but no the cashier turns around and explains to the other two what the whole misunderstanding with the other customer was about. The young man named Jose told her that it was company's policy that she made a purchase before he could allow her to use the restroom. She told him that she was going to make her purchase after she used it first and she was on medication that made her bladder abnormal. Because it was a to-go order, she did not want to take it in the restroom with her. Jose insisted that she made the purchase first causing her to use it on herself. This is uncalled for and to me, unexcusable for any established business, especially a business with a name such as KFC. This type of circumstance should not occur. Validation of her having to actually use it, that is no question. Luckily for them, She had on a diaper. Rather she was about to spend the $50 on the two family meals for my son's daycare that the nearby store has now received, they'll never know. Drove off, went 5 blocks down Tuxford, tenders weren't there, nor the receipt. Drove back and went thru drive thru again, wasn't sure got correct change..she produced the receipt like she was waiting for me, said SORRY DO YOU WANT THE STRIPS IT'S 8.00 SOMETHING. Rude! No regret. I said I want a Mgr or an 800 number. She brought the guy who took my order, he didn't say sorry. Checked my wallet the change was right. Told them I wanted an 800 number to write it on the receipt. They wrote the store 818 number and rudely slammed the window closed! Horrible.
