The reviews on here can not possibly be this location. Either that or we received what we got because the location was closing soon. The fish was not fresh and tasted processed and mushy - the same way frozen fish sticks from the grocery store taste. The batter was an extremely thick flour batter (not cornmeal) and had the appearance and taste of batter that is commonly used to fry chicken. The flavor was overpowering and had an awful after taste. With all of the available fish markets in this city, I’m shocked and angry at how disgusting it was. My Mother picked this place because it was much cheaper than the other King Fish on Crenshaw, but we are definitely paying for that...

First off when I bought the family meal i figured it would be 10 pieces of fish cut into 2 to make 20 pieces altogether, so i bought 2 more whole whiting just in case, when my order was ready he came with a large foil pan of food and another bag with the whiting. There was enough for me to have breakfast this morning.
