First time going here and it was a great experience! We were the only customers at the moment, so it was a little off-putting at first, but the second I ate, my mind changed COMPLETELY!
First off, I got their raw oysters. I’ve only had raw oysters like 6 times in my life, but these were noticeably delicious! When I get oysters from other places, they’re too fishy and make me want to not chew and just swallow to get it over with, but here it was beautiful. I didn’t even wanna put a lot of toppings on it because this was the first time I WANTED to savor them!
Secondly, they said their crawfish was frozen, but if they had told me they had a tank of live ones in the back, I would’ve believed that more than them being frozen! I go for the brains inside to get my moneys worth and at Boiling Crab or other places, the brain is usually a little gray, kinda fishy, but here? They’re BRIGHT ORANGE!! 🧡 The cherry on top was how much sauce was in the bags!! I always thought it was ridiculous how other places would charge you for the sauce 👎🏻
Overall, this place is amazing and staff was super nice! Me and my partner will absolutely be returning!

Read more1.) The food is delicious: King of Crabs offers a large well-organized menu of boiled and fried seafood and fish. The Cajun seasoned seafood is popular here, though I highly recommend their garlic butter sauce. They have crab (King, Dungeness and Snow), lobster and a variety of shrimp. Fish includes: Salmon, Mahi Mahi and Tilapia. Boiled items are a la carte. They offer a choice of sides including corn, garlic bread (excellent) and rice among other options. Clam chowder is popular here as well. 2.) The reason I gave this four stars instead of five: lack of organization on the part of the staff. During this time with a pandemic, they should have strict rules about the number of customers allowed inside at one time. When I came here, there were as many as eight people waiting inside and the restaurant is not very big inside. Staff were obviously busy, but there was disorder in working with customers and getting them out the door. I waited a good 45 minutes past my expected pick up time for my order. 3.) I will happily give them another try. Hopefully next time will be better organized. Again the food is well prepared and portions are good. Prices are a little expensive, but this is...
Read moreI try to make the best out of everything. I went here for my birthday yesterday and have to admit that for a first time visit, I was not impressed. I ordered king crab, shrimp and cotc. To save a bag, (after my server suggested) I requested that they put everything in one bag. They put the crab on top of the shrimp causing the shrimp to overcook. When shrimp are overcooked, it's almost impossible to peel them without them being soggy and falling apart. The corn on the cob was also extremely soggy, overcooked with not much flavor. The crab was delicious and the beer was cold. The idea of giving a suggested $50 tip on a $215 bill would normally work for me, had I not asked the young man to remove the garlic bread off of our bill that we never received, and he not responded in such an ill manner by returning the new bill to the table kissing his teeth and throwing it down. I still gave $20 although it should have been $0.01 for that type of service. Hint: in the future, treat all customers as if you want that 20%. I usually give 35%. You barely got 10%. The garlic bread was only $3. That attitude just cost you about $45 and a...
